Nikon D3000: Camera suddenly does not take a photo

I've had the Nikon D3000 for a few years but suddenly, it will not take a picture when the button is pushed. There is a whirring sound, the flash pops up, but it won't focus or click. Please help.

I have dust just behind the glass on my rear screen, and just inside the view finder. I have had some success removing a small hair from the sensor, dust on the mirror and on the bottom of the prism, but I'm afraid to take anything else apart. Recently I used a lens cleaner inside the body and it left fiber lint on the black felt like material. It is rough to be non reflective. I was able to brush it out with a lens brush but i had a few loose bristles fall out. I was able to get these and then put the lens back on. Some good instructions and the correct tools would help. The camera is at least 2 yrs old and has never been serviced but used a lot.

My camera was dropped in the ocean while taking awesome pictures at the beach. I immediately removed the battery and let it dry, but it no longer turns on. Can I repair this myself or are there any fixes for this other than buying a new camera?

Nikon D3000: I accidentally flashed a Nikon D300 firmware to an D3000 Camera

I broke my gear

I was looking for a firmware Update for My Nikon D3000, but I accidentally Flashed my Camera with a Nikon D300 Firmware. So my Camera is stuck and won't turn on except it keeps on Flashing the AF-assist illuminator.

Should I try Flashing the original firmware? (I don't have the original firmware)

My DSLR d3000 does not have battery cover or grip, the battery that I plug in is full but there is no display to the screen even it will not going to turn on, is there any problem to it?

My camera has a broken diopter, when I turn the knob it does nothing to my viewfinder focus. Could you post a guide on how to fix that? I would also need a part, not sure where to obtain that...

I have photos in the camera - cannot transfer them to computer using view/delete because “this option is not available with current settings.” Immediately preceding this, I had no trouble transferring photos to the computer.

Okay so i ordered new lcd screen from ebay for my nikon D3000 because the original one was shattered and didn't really show anything but little bit of light. After replacing the screen the screen keeps showing black screen with backlight. It kind of turns on and blinks when taking a picture but doens't show anything. IFixit Nikon D3000 page says that it could be a motherboard problem. What do you think guys ?
