I can see the icons to the left on my Coolpix s33 camera, but it will only show a black screen when I take pictures. I can access the menus and all the options just fine, but shows nothing on the LCD screen but black.

Each time I take a picture it takes 2 pictures instead with one being the actual color and the second being lighter or overexposed. How do I fix it so it only takes one picture at a time that is the actual color?

My Coolpix S33 camera takes great pictures however when I turn it to video capture mode it fails to record any sounds during the recording. I've checked the settings in the camera but can not find any ways to get the sound working properly for when I try to make a video with the camera.

Nikon Coolpix S33: Saving multiple pictures to one folder

We take pictures on our new Nikon Coolpix S33 and turn off camara. When we take the next batch of pics, these are saved to another folder. By the end of the day, we can have 50+ folders. Our older Coolpix did not do this. We would like the days worth of pics saved to one folder on the SD card. Any suggestions?

The edge of the "door" piece that you open to insert the SD card and battery is chipped on the edge and will no longer latch properly. Is there any way to buy a replacement part or even 3D print something to replace this part?

Hi! I got my Nikon Coolpix S33 somewhere in 2017, and it worked great… until now… What’s happening? I think my gallery button isn’t working (actually, I can’t get into my gallery on the device!). So that button clicks itself, opens gallery very often and interrupts the shooting experience. That’s my assumption. I’m also providing a video, so check it out :) The camera also turns on by itself (as shown in the video).

Pictures that are taken inside or any videos I take come out fine. However, pictures that I take outside come out extremely overexposed or white. This is a very simple digital camera, so I've been playing with all the settings trying to figure out how to fix this problem but there are so few things you can do on this camera.

Nikon Coolpix S33: Camera Shut Down Immediately After Shot

Hi, I just bought new camera Nikon S33, after fully charged the battery and format memory card I tried to shot , but camera always shut down after I took a picture.

When turn it on again there is nothing in memory card.

What can I do to troubleshoot this issue ?
