When I go to take a picture on Auto, it keeps changing to close up then back to Auto, and close up, some times does don't settle down al all, another time it's ok.

Hi to everyone,

I am Muhammad Moazzam Bhutta!

I have Nikon cool pix P600 Camera, i am having bit issue with, when i connect camera to electric charger, immediately camera get hang, then i remove battery from the camera.

and the 2nd thing is camera not charging. when i connect charger camera get hang and power on off light stable and i didn't feel comfortable so i remove battery immediately from behind the camera even the charging light didn't indicate that camera is charging, even charging light didn't show up a single time.

I used 2 electric cable and 2 USB cable but all cable connected to the camera successfully because when i connect all 4 cable power on off light display and hang. please help me ???

Nikon Coolpix P600: Camera just quit working!

While taking pictures it suddenly stopped working. Could not turn camera on again. Fortunately I was able to connect it to my laptop and was able to transfer my pictures. Is this common? Should I look to fix it or simply buy a different brand?

Nikon Coolpix P600: Why is my LCD showing all green with the image outline, no colour.

Hello

I have an issue with my P600 LCD screen. It should show colour. It started of as an intermittent green blotchy image, now the entire screen image is green. You can make out the picture/video with outlines but filled in with all green. I hope this isn't your of. Description. As well the selector is switching functionalities by itself. Common issue. Just wanted to throw that in there.

I have replaced the battery, plugged the adapter into the wall to charge and tried plugging it in to the computer. The battery will not charge while it is in the camera, the camera will not turn on.

Hi, Today Started Winter, The temperature is about 10° Celsius, My Nikon Coolpix P1000 shows “SdCard cannot be read”even though there is no SdCard , I can not display Menu or do anything. When I insert the SdCard the display turns black for a while then shows “SdCard cannot be read”.

Note : There is no option for Nikon P1000 so I choosed P600.

My problem is that when I turn on the camera that says: The mode dial is not in the correct position. This shows on the screen, all in black background preceded with an exclamation mark! in red. And the truth is that I do not know what the problem is, some people suggested me to opening it and cleaning the contacts, but I doubt that it works, since I repeat only that text appears on the screen and after 10 seconds it turns itself off. I changed the battery, the memory card, I touched all the buttons but nothing has changed. I hope you can give me a clue to solve it. Thank you.

The battery goes dead over a short time when the camera is off. I have to remove the battery when I turn the camera off for a day or two or the battery will be dead. Otherwise the camera function perfectly.

On auto mode and sometimes other modes, the camera will not work at all. Sometimes the zoom will go out at my command and then just come back to the beginning point. It will not even take a picture when it's doing that. At other times, it will work for a while. If I take the battery in and out, it may restart it and work OK for a while. Then, it won't work again later.
