My nikon coolpix p510 battery was stuck in the camera, when I worked at it and got it to come out, it looks puffy. It has not had any water damage, just sitting in the camera for several months of no use. Is this a sign of a bad battery?

I take the pictures and insert the SD card into the computer, but I cannot see the pictures in the computer. When I scan the SD card with data recovery programs, I can see the images. What could be the reason for this?

Nikon Coolpix P510: My camera will no longer take a charge; New NikonBatteries charged

My P510 stopped turning on. Registered message batteries not charged and shut down. It was working normally; batteries (new Nikons in 2021) charged up fully as usual; last photos taken were perfect. GPS no longer works but Nikon says that there is no new firmware supporting that function in this camera.

When I connect the camera to my laptop it will freeze when it gets so far. Initially it stopped at 1,322 pics, then 1,325, then 1,326, and now at 1,329. It freezes at this point. Only one time did it display the pics ready to download so I could select them to transfer to my laptop but the screen was frozen and I couldn’t do anything. After awhile, it will close out and I need to try again. Nikon Coolpix P510 Help please! TIA

Nikon Coolpix P510: The unit turn into standby automatically

I turn on the unit but after a few seconds the unit turn into a stand by mode. The display turn off but the on/off button keep light it. But the unit can’t wake up again from stand by mode, and I have to turn off the unit and turn on again and this behavior repeat it again.

OK, My Nikon P510 shutter button wont allow me to take pics. When I first got it, I'd hold down the shutter button part way to allow it to focus, then push it all the way to snap the shot. The pressure needed to snap the shot became harder and harder to press to take a pic. I've only taken a few hundred pics with this camera, but My Cannan was stolen, so back to the P510. Every once and a while, Im able to get it to take a pic occasionally but it takes A LOT of force on the right side of the button. If Im lucky enough to get it to work at all, I usually have to shut the camera off, back on and, and if Im lucky, with A LOT of pressure to get the shutter to snap a pic. The easy push to auto-focus works flawlessly. I've seen this on other forums and seems to be a common problem, but I haven't seen anyone answer the question.
