Good day. I have a nikon l310 with a damaged lcd (half the screen is black). I've seen the guide on replacing the lcd however the part is not readily available in south Africa and we've had trouble getting deliveries from certain out of country sites that do stock it. Is there any, more readily available lcd that would be compatible with it? I'm not concerned with the quality of the image on the viewing screen, I'd just like to be able to see the picture being taken. Thanks.

My problem is the camera won't save Images on my SD card, I have inserted the SD card, but when I take a picture, the picture is not saved on the SD card, what do you think the solution is?

I took out the SD card out of the slot and found it had a few pieces of plastic missing. The plastic pieces are stuck in the card slot. How do I get them out? I am not able to insert a new card into it.

Nikon Coolpix L310: Can I repair the manual zoom control on the shutter button?

I dropped my Nikon Coolpix L310 and broke the manual zoom on the shutter button. I have a L120 I dropped in the ocean that looks really similar. I was thinking about trying to replace whatever part I broke from the old camera. The zoom control is no longer spring loaded. The shutter button still works, although feels a bit different. Is this something anyone else has tried?

After the camera is turned on for a few seconds, the shutter button as well as zoom will not work. Sometimes if touched slightly or sometimes without any reason the camera will zoom in and continue to zoom until maximum, and will not zoom out unless turned off.

If immediately after turning on the camera the shutter in pressed a picture will be taken but then the button will not work there after.

I have a Coolpix L310 which simply stopped working. That is, it nolonger powers up using battery power but works just fine using the external power supply / charger. I have tried resetting (using the external power), tried resetting the bettery type (by the way I have tried new batteries). Is there anything I can do?
