Nikon Coolpix L26 Camera: Scandisk file nikon 001.dsc won't open

Hello: When I put the scandisk from camera to computer, it wont allow me to open file nikon 001.dsc it asks me do I want to open or save this file. There's a drop down option that says save as, and save open. They both don't work. I would appreciate if someone, could tell me what I'm doing wrong. The pictures I take using the scan disk 16gb or 8gb can't open to see the pictures I took. Thank You

Nikon Coolpix L26 Camera: Zoom and shutter button doesn't work anymore

What happened was my camera got dropped on the floor upside down and ever since, the zoom button is stuck and doesnt move or work anymore and has lost its spring back mechanism also the shutter button doesnt doesnt take any photos unless you press kind of hard and doesnt act the way a button does like no click or anything just pressing down and hoping for the best. I feel like it could be a simple fix but i dont want to do something that i regret.

(also my camera says that its a L29 model but i clicked L26 because there was no option for my camera im not sure if that makes a huge difference though)

Nikon Coolpix L26 Camera: Is there a way to repair the buttons/motherboard

I accidentally stored mine with the batteries and they exploded at some point leaking acid everywhere. I’ve fully opened it up and cleaned as much as possible but the buttons are stuck. Is there any way to make it functioning again? Some of them do feel like they should work while others are completely stuck. But the camera isn’t responding to any button other than on/off right now. It’s stuck in the setting the date menu

Nikon Coolpix L26 Camera: How do I remove the pin holding the battery cover to replace it?

I'm trying to replace the battery door to my digicam because it became loose. I ordered a replacement no problem, and followed a teardown guide linked to me from here to take off the front plate, but that was where the video ended. I cannot source any information about how to take this camera apart any further than that. If you know anything about these cameras or know someone who might, please let me know.
