D3200 refuses genuine Nikon batteries. Screen displays message: “This battery cannot be used. Please use a compatible battery”. Tried 3 different Nikon EN-EL14 batteries and all give the not compatible message

I accidentally stored mine with the batteries and they exploded at some point leaking acid everywhere. I’ve fully opened it up and cleaned as much as possible but the buttons are stuck. Is there any way to make it functioning again? Some of them do feel like they should work while others are completely stuck. But the camera isn’t responding to any button other than on/off right now. It’s stuck in the setting the date menu

My coolpix s9400 has been stuck on the internal memory for a couple months now. I’ve tried formatting on the camera and on a computer, changed the memory card, made sure there was nothing in the card slot and even reset all settings. Nothing has worked. If there’s anything else I can do please help!

The small orange plastic latch that keeps the battery pushed into the camera has snapped and broken; so the battery does not connect to power the camera. Is there any way to fix this on my own? Or should I find a camera repair place?

Nikon B500: How to replace battery terminal if missing?

Out of 4 of the open channels for the AA Battery to fit, the furthest right channel is missing a contact point for the negative node. I’m unsure how to fix this, will I have to disassemble the whole camera just to get to that one section? I bought a generic kit of assorted battery terminal ends but not sure that this will fix it.

It seems the Nikon 1 (I have the S1) lenses have a problem, when they don’t get used for a while, the aperture does not open anymore. Whether it is the aperture leafs getting stuck, a contact problem with the body, or anything like that, it seems to happen to all of them. I surmise this is why Nikon stopped producing or repairing this series.

I am still trying to find out if there is an aftermarket repair at a reasonable cost, or there is another reason.

In my case I have already cleaned the contacts on the body and lenses 10-27.5 and 30-110, and have blown the dust and other things out of the outside contact ports.

But until now no difference, which is why I will buy a new battery to try that out.

The last choice is to get Nikon or another repair shop to look at the lenses and the body.
