Nikon COOLPIX P7700: How to clean a mould patch formed inside the objective lens?

Due to high humidity, there is a mould patch formed inside of the frontmost lens (right at the center!) which decreased the quality of the pictures taken. Anyone know the tools and procedures for cleaning this up otherwise a visit to the service center for this treatment costs almost the price of a new camera?

Nikon COOLPIX P7700: Monitor-screen goes black after folding

I Open/Fold out the monitor-screen 180º East-to-West; then I Rotate the monitor-screen 360º N-to-S; but when I Close/Fold in the monitor-screen 180º W-to-E the monitor-screen goes off. I suspect a cable might be the culprit. How can I fix it? Thank you for your help.
