hi,

so my Coolpix b500 (they didn't have that in option) isn't shutting off properly, when i shut it off the green light still is on and the battery's die soo fast! (I use lithium) I have check every setting and have looked on the internet but I cant figure out how to fix it!

please help!!

My Nikon b500 won't turn on. The lens moves 1mm out when I press the "on/off" button, I have had the camera for about 4 months and it was working fine but now this? the screen doesn't even turn on. I paid so much money for this. The Lens moves a tad but the screen doesn't turn on.

I have a problem with my Nikon coolpix p500, recently I put my camera by a window and, it ended up getting leaked on right on top, I tried to get all the water out and let it dry, later on I tried to see if all the water got out when I noticed there was water in the lenses, almost like condensation, how do I fix that?

my coolpi p500 only turns on fully (monitor comes on & i can take pictures) when its either plugged into the wall charger or my laptop. I’ve already bought a new battery and charged it and tried it in the camera and the problem remains. HELP

If your camera is able to record movies but not able to shoot pictures, please try again with the following details as following:

Press the shutter button used to make pictures with and when you press it fully down try to wiggle around with it while pressed completly down. I found out on my device that it then somtimes works and that indicates to me that the second smd tactile button used for shooting pictures in this shutter button was broken. A new unit is around 30 euro’s when you order it online.

It helped me. This is why I added it here, so you don’t have to go through a lot of effort to diagnose the problem.

Every time I turn on my camera I can do one action like taking a picture and then all my functions stop working. Also when I zoom in the camera, and I stop pushing the zoom button, the camera zooms out. I tried uploading a new firmware and I also tried using a new fully charged battery.
