The signal seems to be strong enough (my other newer tablet works fine). I use it as an e-reader and this is the only problem I can detect.

My nexus tablet (7 gen2) boots up to the google logo, and gets stuck there. Also, it has had a battery replacement, and screen replacement in its life, if that means anything. Nothing i do helps, and i want old vides off it. Pls help

Update:

So its been a bunch of months and i found out my problem, (i completely forgot about this post lol) the white ribbon cable was giving me troubles, not connecting properly due to one single bent pin from poor re-assembly.

that being resolved, i royally messed up the orange ribbon cable’s connector at the top of the tablet

Time for some micro-soldering!

My Nexus 10 tablet used to connect to the internet just fine, but now I cannot seem to get the Wi-Fi to connect, even with a known working network. I tried to reboot my device, but it won't work.

Nexus 10: Turns on crashes then reboots.

It turns on crashes and reboots. Tried resetting but it just goes back to the original state like it was before resetting. Tried flashing stock rom (it was alredy on stock) but with locked bootloader through "Update from ADB" but it was just not working. Then i tried unlocking the bootloader but after reboot it just locked itself so i dont know what to do now. Any help would be apreciated.(Cant upload any videos or pictures)

Nexus 9: Nexus keeps trying to start shows the google start up and then nothin

Hi everyone, my nexus keeps trying to start then gets up to the google screen and then just keeps trying to get past that point but cant.... Is this a sign the battery is knackered? It does still charge tho so not sure if a virus has buggered it or what???

Nexus 7 2nd Generation: Automatic screen rotation not working

I've had a Nexus 7 Gen 2 for a couple years now, and recently, the screen has stopped rotating in response to device orientation. Restarting the device used to fix the issue temporarily, but now even that doesn't always work. This also affects tilt functions in various games.

Check My Android reads 0 on the tilt sensors when the device gets stuck. I use Rotation to manually shift the screen, but this problem occurs with or without the app installed.

Any suggestions as to what might be wrong and how to fix it?

Nexus 7 2nd Generation: Google logo comes up, then nothing.

Same issue, after at least a year in a desk drawer, charged overnight, hit power button, Google logo comes up, then nothing. Tried the power plus volume down buttons, the correct screens come up (Android with open door), scroll to recovery mode, hit power button, screen goes blank, then Google logo displays then nothing, just nothing, just the logo.

Anyone with suggestions, please!

Nexus 9: tablet looping Google screen

My wife has a HTC Nexus 9. She has had it a few years and it suddenly has a problem. She has not done any updates or rooting or anything, and the last thing she remembers installing was a Nonagram-type puzzle game. When she switches it on it gets to the Google logo, then resets and loops.

I have gone into recovery mode and tried "wipe cache partition" and a few other things but it makes no difference. When I connect it to my pc it isn't detected. It looks like the only option left is factory reset, but my wife doesn't want to lose her family photos and videos. She does not have a backup.

Is there anything I can try before resorting to factory reset?

Nexus 7: What is restarting the bootloader done for, in Fast boot mode?

It powers on but doesn't get beyond the power on loading screen. I get it powered off then hold power and both volumes until the screen shows a green bot lying down with the stomach door open. At the bottom left of the screen I see

At the upper right corner I see START and arrows up and down. I push the volume down button to scroll through the options of RESTART BOOTLOADER, Recovery mode, Power off.

I tried the Recovery mode option and I only see the word GOOGLE with no further activity.

What is restart BOOTLOADER?

my nexus 9 wifi is unstable it connected . surfing awhile then it will reconnect after that it will totally disconnected and searching for wifi.

and sometimes I turn off wifi and restart my tablet ,I turn on my wifi it will stay turning on...

may I know issit wifi antenna got issue? I hope its not the motherboard issue.

Last 2 days ago I connect charger to charge tablet ( it was 70%) then after an hour checked again and whoa! 30%!!!!!! Check battery usage and noticed although I connected charger cable but battery drained inverse!

Unplugged it and try another Asus 7 charger and same problem, Battery goes off after 0% and when I plugged again just flicker screen and nothing happend, I tried cleaning USB port, changing cable and charger and done instruction of nexus Google website ( Press power + volume and bluh bluh bluh) even remove battery and charge it separately with power supply then put it back again, tablet switch on again and andrid comes healthy but again it shows charging!!!! no charger and indicate charging!!! I even flashed the whole rom and boot loader, doesnt solved,

I dont know what to do,,, Battery is healthy charger is healthy , usb port is cleaned but problem insist

What do you suggest?

Is it possible to upgrade my 16GB 2013 Nexus 7 storage to a 32 GB or more? Sadly the operating system takes up more storage space than I expected (a whole four gigs!) so now I only have 112 gigs of usable space, and I need a little more for what I use my tablet for. Any help at all would be appreciated, thank you in advance!

Nexus Tablet: frequent turn off, device is corrupted

After I reached one website on the Internet (several seconds) my Nexus 9 started turning off. I could turn it on again but with the next command it turned off. Such situations repeated. Next day it became too frequently- Nexus turned off when I tried to click any command. I decided to restore it to factory setting.

But nothing positive happened. There was indication: your device is corrupt. Can it be a virus that corrupted the device and could it be repaired by using some antivirus software? Or what should be done to make it work normally?

Whenever I try to turn on the device it just blinks the notification light 3 times. I’ve tried charging it but no luck. Can someone help?

Figured it out. For one it was 5 blinks, not 3, and also you just need to charge it longer it seems. I recommend

90 minutes - 2 hours.
