Nexus S: How to change faulty USB port

I have an issue which relates to the micro usb port on my Nexus S not working.

How hard or easy is it to change the port ?

I've looked at the disassembly here on the website and did not manage to see clearly how the USB port was connected to the board.

I tried to charge my battery of my nexus s from another local charger. . . but it made my phone dead.

when i check supply pins of phone when positive and negative of battery comes in contact with device's pin with my external power supply and power it on. .

it doesn't power on. .

I took my cellphone to repairers to get it checked. they told me it's problem of power ic

I myself is a electronics engineer. so please guide me it is exact problem of power ic or something else. .

Nexus S: Why doesn't my phone ring on incoming calls?

I have a Google Nexus S with T-Mobile as my carrier. The problem is that the phone doesn't always ring when calls come in. All other notifications work (including vibrate) and it doesn't matter is I change ringtones, etc. The "failure to ring" seems random but sometimes happens on the first call I receive during the day.

Help?

Nexus S: Nexus S Power Button Not Working

Hi all,

My Nexus S dropped into water the other day. After it's dried, I managed to boot it up by plugging in the power cable. Soon I realized the power button had stopped working. Other than that the phone seemed to work fine.

What should I do to get the phone fixed? Any ideas what parts I should replace and where can I find them? Thank you!

Nexus S: no network

Nexus S I9020T does not work on mobile network state as "connected". It really works at home and office network on wireless acess points, but not at mobile network operator. This service is provided by the operator and works well on other cell phone, but not at this moment at Nexus S. It use to work well. Can i fix it by by my self or I have to deleaver it to Samsung costumer service? I do appreciate any help.

My Sprint Samsung Google Nexus S 4G has overheated and doesn't power on anymore. Its power IC probably got damaged from the overheat. Is it possible to reuse its harddrive and install it to another Nexus S phone?

I have had this phone which Ive not used for a few years, because the screen broke in that it wasn't functioning and went black. This meant I couldn't unlock the phone to allow transfer of photos etc. There are a collection of family photos that I would like to retrieve from it. I don't need the phone repairing, but if we were to send a memory stick, could they be retrieved and sent back to me?
