<title><![CDATA[Netgear WGR614v9: router is not responding]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>problem : router's wifi status  light is on but no wifi signal.</p>

<p>2. Can not connect to router via LAN cable also, on lan serup mode ,routerlogin.net page not available. On ipconfig, device ip :192.168.0.2 but default gateway ip is missing .</p>

<p>3. Ping to 192.168.0.1 is not working</p>

<p>4. Router stopped working after i tried setting it in repeater mode(as acess point to my root dlink router)</p>

<p>Reset to default factory mode is not working.</p>

<p>pls help. Thanks</p>

<title><![CDATA[Netgear Router: Netgear CAX30 Cablemodem/router stopped working]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>I have a 14 month old Netgear CAX30 Cablemodem/router combo that recently locked up. Only the ethernet lights remain lit. All the other light on the front panel are dark (power, LAN, 2.4, 5,g, , etc). I have attempted a reset multiple times, removed the power multiple times for 24+ hours.</p>

<p>When I plug the power back in, all that happens is the white ethernet lights (1-4) come on (even if nothing is plugged in) but nothing else happens. It does not go through a startup routine and it is not broadcasting a default wifi. I cannot access the unit via the ip address and it does not register with Spectrum (cable provider)</p>

<p>Is this unit &quot;bricked&quot; or is it repairable/recoverable?</p>

<title><![CDATA[Netgear Router: What's going on with my Netgear WNDR3300 router?]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>Ok I have a fully updated Netgear Router WNDR3300.</p>

<p>My problem started last night when for no reason it stopped working.</p>

<p>So since I have a very good understanding of tech I tried to fix it with no results.</p>

<p>When I attempt to login to the router wirelessly via:192.168.1.2 I get text that says &quot;IT WORKS!&quot; and nothing else.</p>

<p>When I plug the router in via Ethernet and try to login I get the same page. The problem with ethernet is that the computer will not recognize the router is connected PC &amp; Mac.</p>

<p>I tried to hard reset it by holding down the &quot;reset button&quot; for 10 seconds and also 30 seconds and 1 minute.</p>

<p>I also unplugged it and plugged it back in.</p>

<p>I am quite positive this is the result of malicious software so if anyone has any ideas on what to do I would appreciate it.</p>

<p>I have not been able to find any info on this on google or any forums I have been on.</p>

<title><![CDATA[Netgear Router: Wifi randomly turns off]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>So my parents recently got a nighthawk wifi six router (I believe the RAX200). For the most part it runs fine, but randomly the signal will drop.</p>

<p>I’ve already tried updating the firmware, and I’ve already reset it once. They all resolve the issue for a a while, but it does comeback  every now and then.</p>

<p>It doesn’t happen that often, but since my parents are using it for their business,  they don’t want to risk it dropping during work hours.</p>

I stuffed installation up on repeaters admin page and it hasent blinked or been picked up by the wifi router so the 30 sec on power and off power system didnt do anything it was connected till i did something wrong during configuration of repeater. The second light just stays on and no devices even pick the repeater up in conect to othdr networks any help would be appreciated please</p>

<title><![CDATA[Netgear WGR614v9: Removing repeater function when reset button is not working]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[<p>Hi,</p>

<p>I've a Netgear WGR614v9 which I tried using as a repeater and thus set it up with another router. But it did not work. I want to reset the router now, but it does not provide any IP to my computer even when the main router is switched off. The reset button malfunctioned few months back and its not working.</p>

<p>Can you please let me know how to reset the netgear WGR 614v9 manually without reset button?</p>
