now nothing.. fresh batteries installed... nothing.. blinking red light when I try to re-connect VIA the "Sync Buttons"...now it seems only usefull as a tiny boat anchor.

I have a spare battery and keep it charged all the time. is there something wrong with the device or is it the batteries?
