Raspberry Pi 3 Model B: How to setup VPN on Raspberry Pi 3 connected to Mesh System

Howdy folks!

I have a raspberry pi model 3 B+. I want to install ProtonVPN on the raspberry pi usinVPN or somthing similar.

Ideally I am hoping to hardwire the raspberry pi to my ISP modem/router then have the Raspberry pi run the VPN software. Then, since the raspberry pi only has 1 physical Ethernet port, use a USB Ethernet adapter and direct the VPN internet out of the USB Ethernet adapter into my TP-Link Deco Mesh System.

Is it possible to have the incoming internet be form say ETH0 (built in Ethernet port) and then send internet into the Mesh through say ETH1 (USB Ethernet adapter)?

This way the entire mesh network can be VPN secured household wide and the raspberry pi can be connected between the ISP modem router & my mesh system?

Thanks in advance! I am really looking forward to some help since I have posted this on Reddit in the Raspberry PI group and never gotten and comments at all 😔!

Raspberry Pi 4: Will my device still function?

I wanted to boot ubuntu on my pi and i completely erased the files on the sd card. later, i was applying heatsinks on my board and noticed a little brown something on my board under the "GPIO" text under the headers. At first it felt like dirt to me and i pulled it out and later i realized solder marks under it. I am extremely anxious to know whether my raspberry will still function or not, and whats the ic number. Also, is it possible to get it fixed?

Nanocomputers: Waveshare Pioneer600 - OLED screen stopped working

Hi iFixers. Me again with yet another weird question - I have a Waveshare Pioneer600 hat for the Raspberry Pi and at some point I discovered to my surprise that OLED screen stopped working. It died with small steps - at first it stopped being detected over I2C but kept working if addressed via Python code, but now it just died.

Btw the screen itself works fine - I soldered it onto another carrier board and it's totally fine. So the issue is probably on the board.

Here is an official wiki of the board: https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/Pioneer60...

And here's overall board layout:

They also provide a schematic:

https://files.waveshare.com/upload/6/62/...

I checked the board for shorts or anything obvious and everything seems to be intact - all caps are fine, resistors have resistance and so on. I even touched up some solder joints but that didn't bring any results.

<ins>What I need help with is what IC should I probably replace in order to get it back to work?</ins> Could be either of the three main ones, but my guess would be it is a PCF8574T:

Could also be a PCF8591T

Or least probable is a realtime clock controller DS3231SN:
