I bought the Dreamtab 8 for my son for Christmas...now it just shows a blank white screen with a weird noise coming from the speakers....I put it on the charger and it shows the red light showing its charging but I can't operate the tablet at all. I can't even turn it off or put the volume down. Is there a reset button? What do I do?

Nabi DreamTab HD8: How do I fix this?

Hi. I got my Nabi Dream tab back in late 2015. It was a good tablet. I got a Fire Tablet in late 2017 and decided to put the Nabi up. Well little did I know that was the year Android 4.4 ended its support and nabi discontinued its products. So here I was the other day doing some rearranging in my apartment. I found the nabi in my closet and it is still in good condition meaning: no cracks, no dents, no scratches, no water damage, LCD is fine. It also charges fine. I left it on the adapter for a while and it got fully charged. Once it was done charging, I decided to turn it on. It was stuck on the dream tab characters for about 10 minutes. So I shut the device off and got on the computer and looked up how to do a factory reset and I got to the last step but it wouldn't factory reset it just kept saying it was "wiping data". So I tried every option on the recovery kernel. I can't disassemble it because I lost my screwdriver for that and I refuse to buy new tools. Also I have an old Chromebook so I can't do the debugging or booting or any of that. Please help me. My Plan is to turn it in to a normal tablet by getting into the parent mode.

Nabi DreamTab HD8: I am unable to get my DreamTab past the Character boot screen

I have the Nabi Dreamtab Model B: Version KOT49H: Android 4.4. I got it in late 2015. It worked WONDERFUL up until after quarantine time. Around Early 2022 I noticed that the device would get stuck on the Dreamtab Characters boot screen. I have since then racked my brain trying to fix it. I have done Pam Morris's video, I have hard reset it, and I have wiped the cache partition. I only have an old Chromebook for work and don't have a Linux option, and I currently don't have access to a Windows computer. I can't afford to go to a repair shop. So how do I fix this to where it turns on and goes to the setup screen and past Dreamtab characters?

Nabi DreamTab HD8: Screen Bug and Frozen

I'm experiencing a problem with my tablet. Every time I turn it on, the screen freezes and becomes unresponsive. It gets stuck on the startup screen or doesn't respond to any touch inputs. I have tried restarting the tablet multiple times, but the issue persists. I haven't made any recent changes to the device or installed any new apps that could have caused this problem. The tablet was working fine until this issue started happening. I'm not sure what could be causing the screen to freeze consistently upon startup.
