Mr. Christmas Musical Carousel: Why is the carousel not turning?

I have a Mr. Christmas Carousel, and it stopped turning. Now it just plays music. I tried to open it up, but the bottom wouldn't come off. I have a soldering iron and any other tool that would need. I took the screws out of the bottom and I tried prying it off, but that didn't do anything. If I can get the bottom off, I can fix the problem. I am guessing that it is a disconnected wire. Any ideas on getting the bottom off or an alternate method is greatly appreciated.

My carousel is two years old and kept in the original box outside the Christmas season. When I plugged it in this year, it turns, the lights work, but there is no music.

Mr Christmas Holiday Merry-Go-Round

Ok, this Mr Carousel Grand Marquee has got me on a mission. I installed an electrical brand new ceiling fan but this carousel is on my last nerve! I cannot get the little piece off at the top. And under the roof, I have removed all screws along the very edge. Do the other , what looks like tiny screws need to come off? This was my mom's and I hate to break it as it was expensive. Please, please can anyone help me? I would be so grateful.

Nothing is working so disconnected the motor now the lights work with music. So I assume the motor is no good , is this so and can I get a replacement motor.

I have the Mr. Christmas Swing Carousel (Gold Label). I had it stored in a china cabinet and when I got it out to play the music, I turned it on, it hesitated, had some static, the music started up played a little, stopped and did not come back on. The carousel never did turn. I disconnected it from the power source and tried it again, this time it wouldn't turn on at all except for the lights at the top. Is this something that can be repaired and if so do you have any idea/recommendations on who == Heading text == would do this type of repair?

this is a double decker. I pugged it in, it played, then popped and smoked and quit! Now I need to get it open! I can not get it open! I have no idea how to separate the carousel to inspect the wiring and fix it. Any ideas? Thanks so much
