I have a razr v3 from 2004 whenever I Try fo boot it up I get a weird message is there any way I can fix this. Here is the message

Keep missing incoming calls. Phone does not ring. Have checked volume, it is set at 7. Set phone to ring and vibrate. Vibrate OK but no ring. What to do?

I recently flashed my razr v3 and now it doesn't charge it says unable to charge. It still works when its plugged in but when I unplug it it turns off. Not sure if it's the batterys fault or the phone's.

Edit: The battery outputs 1.91v on the 2 outside terminals and the 2 inside ones output 0.02v. the phone outputs 2.10v. It still wont charge

Motorola RAZR v3: Wont turn on and won't stop charging

So I plugged the phone in to a charger and it gives a flashing message sayiing charging battery. It's been plugged in for a couple hours now, I tried to turn it on a few times while on the charger, nothing, just gives me the same message. so when I took it off the charger it still wouldn't turn on. How Lin is it supposed to charge before you can turn it on? And shouldn't I be able to turn it on while still on the charger? It doesn't have a SIM card in yet, not sure if this affects any of that.

I've got my mom's ~2006 verizon razr here but can't figure out how to get our old photos off this thing. All the software that my research says to use to interface with the phone (PhoneTools, MDM, drivers) seems to be massively outdated and not compatible with my current computers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello.

So recently I found my mom’s old Motorola Razr v3, and I wanted to recover old images off of it. My mom told me the screen is broken but the outer small one should work.

I did not have the right cable for it, so I ordered one and it arrived today.

I plugged in the phone to my computer and nothing happened.

I held down the power button on the right side and nothing happened. So I clicked the end call button, and it suddenly powered on.

Now it stays on for a few seconds with the screen(s) being off and the speaker making weird bzzzz noises, then it turns off for a second and goes back to the same thing.

I am guessing either the phone is bootlooping for some reason (maybe cause of a dead battery?) or something. Taking out the battery makes the phone not wanna turn on.

So uh, what can I try now?

If nothing works I will try and order a replacement screen and battery for it and try fixing it, hoping it will work so I can recover the data.

I'm unhappy with voice quality of my pantech so I swapped the chip back to my 10 year old Motorola Razr. After a full charge it come on perfectly, I put in my PW and it showed 'registered' with my correct phone number. I tried calling out but it always "Failed' to connect. what can I do to get it to connect the my ATT service and work?

This is a kind of general question. I notice that many new flip phones - for example the Alcatel Go Flip 3 - use pretty much the same keypad layout as the old Motorola RAZR v3. I’m wondering anyone knows if that means they are likely using the same keypad connectors and/or interface for the keypad? I’m wondering if it might be possible to build a Frankenphone with new guts, but in a Razr case?

Hi, I just bought a new battery for my mom’s old RAZR V3 to solve the problem of the phone displaying a message saying “unable to charge”. it will turn on and work perfectly, but the moment I unplug it, it dies. It does not display a battery charging icon either. It originally had a BR56 battery in it and had this problem, so I assumed that a new battery would fix it. So I replaced it with a BR50 and it is still behaving the same. I am going to try finding an original charger, but my mother most likely threw it out. Thank y’all for any help.

This is a question of curiosity more than a repair question. I note that many modern feature phones have the same basic keypad layout as the Motorola Razr with the navigation in the top middle and two ‘choice’ buttons on the left and the right. This would imply to me that the ‘keypad controller’, for lack of a better term, might be common among all these phones. Does anyone know if this is true?

my computer will not recognize my phone to transfer photos from phone to computer. It will recognize my cannon camera , but not my phone. I haved tried typeing in motorola, or motorola razr v3 and it doesn't work . Do you have any ideas ?

how to recover lost photos when they where sent to a tesco photo kiosk but disappeared? they where photo of my husband holding my son when he was stillborn on 19 april 2009 they where the only one taken as we had limted time to spend with him my husband went to get them developed dont know if he choose wrong option(move,copy or print) please help! louise
