A friend gave me their v9x to see if I can get some sentimental pictures from it after their husband almost ripped it in half. I bought a battery and the phone powers on. However the screen does not turn on, and therfore I cannot see how to get to the settings to manage cable connections.

Motorola RAZR2 v9m: My Motorola V9 Died.

Hi, I bought a "New" N.O.S. ( New Old Stock) Motorola V9 Flip Phone from China. It's in perfect condition, a long with all the accessory's that came with it. All sealed in plastic, and in the original box. I charged it up, and it worked perfectly. So I took it down too my carrier AT&T, and had it "Activated" and it worked perfectly. For (1) Day, I brought it home that night turned it off and the next morning when I tried to turn it on, I got "Nothing". So I thought it might be the battery, so I plugged it into the "Charger", and nothing happened. Instead of the face of the phone lighting up, and saying (Battery Charging) it was just Black. So I tried (2) other Brand new batteries, with the same results. So now all the phone doe's, when I push on the "Red" Power button is the "Motorola" I-con comes on for about 1-2 seconds, and then goes "Black". And just keep's repeating the same thing, over and over again. So I was wondering # 1, do you even work on phones this "Old" Produced 2008. and # 2, what is your "Diagnostic" Charge ?. And # 3 if you do, what's an "Average" turn around time ?, I ask because I don't know where in the country your located. And # 4 if not, can you direct me on who might repair these Old phones ?.

Well, thank you so much for your time and concern in this matter and I look forward too your response.

Sincerely,

And P.S., would you let me know what part of the country your in, because I want to take the Phone to the Fed-Ex store and find out how much it would cost me too ship it too you. Thank's again.
