Hello,

I cracked my screen on my Z4 and tried to replace it; however, I damaged the connector in the process. In the picture below, the black plastic has shattered while the white remains in tact.

Does anyone know the part number for this connector? I have seen Z3 display connectors for sale, does anyone know if those are compatible?

If there is anything additional information I can provide, please let me know. I have included pictures to help show what's going on.

Motorola Moto Z4: Screen flickering when phone is asleep

Last night I updated my Moto z4 which was mandatory. Ever since while my phone screen is asleep, not powered off, the phone screen will light up white for a split second, like a flash multiple times once about five-ten or so seconds. This is a new phone and I've only had it for about 8 months, so I am very nervous about getting malware or a virus, nothing else seems to be wrong with it, and it's working fast like normal.

Motorola Moto Z4: How do I replace LCD FPC connector (for screen) in Moto Z4?

I have replaced the screen in my Z4s a few times (I have more than one). However, this time the LCD FPC connector for the screen got chipped exposing the underlying pins. Neither the old cracked (but still working) screen nor new one will work now (no response - stays black). I can only guess the connector may be the problem. I have found it for sale at an online parts website, however, if it requires delicate soldering, I may not be capable of replacing it.

I have not located any help guides or other assistance to show how to replace it. I can manage it if it simply snaps into place. Anyone here have any suggestions or references where I may look for some guidance?

Many thanks in advance for help with this matter.

Motorola Moto Z4: Phone no longer recognizes whether auxiliary cord is unplugged

I've had this phone for over 6 years, and have a preference for playing things over an auxiliary cable rather than Bluetooth if I can help it. In doing so, I seem to have worn out an important part of the socket. All other audio plays perfectly over its own speakers, but any music, notification sounds, or sounds from a game, it tries to send the audio to the device that it thinks it's connected to.

Is there a way to fix this? Does anyone have a line on where I can get a headphone jack for this phone?
