iv been having trouble finding a good guild for the moto G7 charging port repair, that shows a perfect view of the capacitors that are near the charging port i only find guilds on the power and play models

Motorola Moto G7: MOTO G7 Need to only replace touch glass not LCD too

My G7 LCD works fine, only the glass is cracked. All videos show replacing LCD with the glass attached. Is there a way to remove the glass only without damaging the LCD. THANKS

Hi, I have a Moto G7 1962-1 I dropped and broke the screen. I bought two different screens on Amazon but after installing they stay black. The phone itself works, as it rings the flashlight turns on when shaking it etc. But both new screens don't turn on. I've tried everything I can find. Please give me an idea of what else I need to try .

I recently put a 128 gb micro SD card in my moto g7 I try to put it in once and I heard the SD card scratching the inside of my phone so I tried to take it out and it was stuck in there I got it out and tried to put it back in and it all went in smoothly then I took the tray out again and the micro SD card wasn't there anymore how do I get it out it's so deep in my phone

Motorola Moto G7: Removing Google Play Music from my phone?

While I knew Play Music was due to be shut down, I was hoping that it would still work as an offline music player, but Google has killed it off entirely. The issue at least with my phone, is that I got my one OS update and that means I can’t expect another update to remove Play Music from my phone unless Motorola does it as a minor OS upgrade.

Seeing as I’m probably stuck with Play Music on my phone since Motorola is not likely to remove it, is there anything I can do to remove it entirely from my device?

Motorola Moto G7: Re-solder/replace power connector with cold solder joint?

USB port/power connector moves up and down when I attach the power adapter and can no longer make a connection no matter what cable I use, so I suspect a cold solder joint, likely from the phone being dropped too many times with the cord attached. If that's what it is, I've re-soldered electronics (not phones) in the past to fix this, but I'm wondering: (1) Is that likely what it is or could something else be loose on the G7? (2) Has anybody ever fixed this issue? (3) How difficult would this be?

Motorola Moto G7: Phone not charging while on, charging very slowly when off

I just went to plug my phone in and noticed it wasn’t charging. Switched around cable location, etc, nothing was working, wondered if the cable was faulty. Then, I powered off my phone, and it displayed to be charging. Going into the console (was attempting a reboot but was reading a guide for an older phone), it also displayed the battery as in fine condition and charging. Whenever I turn the phone on, it stops charging.

One more detail is when I plugged in the cable to my laptop USB port, the laptop said that it couldn’t read the USB device due to a “malfunction” on its end.

Motorola Moto G7: Moto G7 Receiver Distorted Audio

Moto G7, Model XT1962-1, out of warranty. The receiver (earpiece speaker) produces buzzy, distorted audio. The loudspeaker (speakerphone) is fine. I have run Motorola diagnostics. verified that the issue exists in safe mode, and done a factory reset (which solved some other issues, thankfully). I’m certain at this point the the receiver speaker is faulty, but have not been able to find the component in the United States. I believe the Motorola part number is SR78C33892. Does anyone have any suggestions/comments? Thank you!
