HI all

when i updated my 4g play to nougat then the touchscreen stopped working .. it tried hard resetting and everything on the book i even disconnected the screen cables and reconnected them .. did not work .. .. the screen was working very good with no problems..

i have replaced it months ago and this one has a small crack a near the speaker . but what is the relation between updating the software and the screen anyway .

I dropped my Moto G4 play and didn't break the screen but now I have colored lines going through my screen and white Lines going the opposite direction on the top what can I do to fix this ? what did I break ? what do I need to replace?

Motorola Moto G4 Play: Replaced screen and Touch won't work

Hi! So I have a Moto G4 Play, the screen got busted and I replaced it, the phone booted up fine and the screen looked good but was completely unresponsive to touch. So I got a another new screen replacement and tried that one and same issue. Phone is completely unresponsive to touch but otherwise boots on and seems to have no other issues.

Any idea on what I can do do fix this? I cleaned the screen connector ports and not luck.

Hey there! I’ve been using t teardown guide for a few years to replace my cracked screen (3 times in 3 years) I bought the screen and LCD digitizer as one whole part online, and moved the guts of my phone to this part. I realized that I didn’t connect that audio/speaker cable and disassembled my phone to put that part inside. My screen will not power on now after powering on previously. It just vibrates and that’s about all I get.

Why would this happen. Also, would the flex cable that’s behind the battery that connects to the motherboard and the charging port affect the screen display??

I download a lot of music. How can I save my google play music? I have tried changing the storage location in google play settings. But after the apps that provide free music are deleted, so does all my downloaded music. Do I store it all in my sd card? Internal or external storage?
