Motorola Edge (2020): SIM card tray is stuck

I have a Motorola Edge, I’m trying to change the SIM card, but I can’t get the SIM card tray to eject. I’ve tried using different SIM card tools, and paperclips, only to have them bend, and just had the tip of the paperclip break off into the hole. I’ve taken it to the mobile carrier, as well as a local tech repair place, but no success at either place. The tech repair place isn’t authorized for Motorola phones, and basically said it needs to be taken apart to remove the SIM card tray.
I’d appreciate any advice and guides that might help.

Motorola Edge 20 Pro: Why is my Bluetooth not connecting properly

There is a problem with the line of Motorola edge 20 pro that appears to appear on a certain amount of Devices, with no permanent fix or consistent way of making it happen:

Bluetooth and wifi will simply refuse to turn on for no apparent reason, the only semi consistent thing of the wifi/Bluetooth blackout is that it starts after the CPU package gets above 28°, and I have lowered the chance of the issue happening by freezing it to about 0° once, it is still happening, but it has been happening less

Motorola Edge 30 Pro: USB-C Port - Suspected looseness/fault, replacement parts & repair

Howdy Ifixit crew and community!

I've had my Edge 30 Pro for a couple of years now without (major, anyway) issues, but just in the last few days or so, I've noticed it acting strange with charging. Having previously had iPhones long ago (and so, having to do the old "magic angle" trick with many a Lighting cable) it feels like a positioning problem, but it's very slight.

What happens when I plug it in is this. About half the time, it connects and charges normally. The other half, it connects for a second (it buzzes, I see the on-screen animation, and the battery indicator displays charging) but disconnects almost immediately. Occasionally, it will do this a second time, after which, no amount of wiggling gets it to reconnect.

At home I have three chargers around my desk; the original 30 Pro's charger, a 45W charger for general use, and a laptop 65W charger. The 45W and 65W repeatedly showed the above behaviour. I got more luck out of the 30 Pro's original 30W charger, so filled it up with that before I continued testing. From there, I started to notice that I could get it to charge in almost any angle, but, if I wiggled it slightly directly upwards (bending cable in the direction of the screen) it would drop in/out of charging, but mostly continue to charge (rather than refuse to charge at all at any position.)

So as I said - it reads like a dodgy cable, but with 3 chargers doing different versions of the same things, I assume it's the port.

So! Anyone else had issues like this? And does anyone know if it's fairly easy to get parts to replace the charging board, should it be that? I haven't done a repair on a live device before, only old phones I've switched away from, so this is a bit more worrisome as I'd need to ensure I don't break the screen and do re-seal it sufficiently enough to restore (at least, most of) it's waterproofing. I assume it's screen off > cables out > daughter board replacement.

Thanks in advance everyone!

Motorola Edge 30: Bluetooth and Gps troubles after screen replacement.

Hi,
i replaced my screen and housing on my Motorola edge 30 recently and everything went smoothly. But now i have trouble with Bluetooth having bad range, it is skipping/lagging a lot and has trouble connecting. Similarly the GPS has very bad accuracy.

After looking it up it seems to be the antenna that perhaps was damaged during the repair, could this be correct?

Motorola Moto Edge: WiFi connection working but in very, very low speeds. How to fix it?

Hello everyone.

I own a Moto Edge 40 Neo (Brazil) and I have rooted the device with Magisk.

The device is waterproof. OK

But one day, by accident, I spilled carbonated water on the device and since then the WiFi internet has been working with a download speed of no more than 10kbps, according to the Ookla speed test. In fact, the upload speed is much faster than the download speed. I unrooted the device but the problem persists. I took the device to the technician and he said that I need to do a hard reset on it to solve the problem. Isn't there a more efficient solution like changing the WiFi antenna or the network card or using a repair software to solve the problem?

Thanks!

Phone is almost 2 months old, and physical Sim stopped working suddenly and phone gave message that no SIM was available. Tried many other Sims and installed in Sim tray, but phone does not detect any of them. Esim was installed twice and each one lasted 1 weeks each then suddenly were like the physical Sim, they shut down. Now I can't install an e Sim with carrier for some reason, SIM I've lost almost 2 months of plan service time.
Motorola Edge 40 Pro: Tempered glass camera lens cover

I dropped my phone and the tempered glass camera lens cover cracked extensively. I went to cut away the cracked part with a diamond cutting wheel in my Dremel so I could use the camera. I ended up finding out that this glass cover is just a stick on piece with the adhesive around the perimeter of the lens cover. I was able to remove the entire cover to keep using the camera.
