Device: Motorola Fusion 50

Background: I cleaned the phone with water (it is IP68 rated). The battery died at 0% while the port may have still been slightly wet. Since the phone was fully off, the moisture warning never triggered and I unknowingly charged it. The phone successfully charged to 100% and worked normally for around 4 hours after that. The next morning it started shutting down instantly on every boot.

Troubleshooting done:

- Tested in Safe Mode — same issue, shuts down immediately

Questions:

1. Does this sound like a PMIC failure or could it be something else?

I have been using the Motorola edge 2024 for half an hour, the specification indicated that its screen was resistant to shocks and damage, I fell it off the bed and its screen cracked, So where's the claim that this phone can withstand drops or bumps? I don't know what to do now with a phone with a cracked screen. Sending it in for repair is expensive, so how can I have the confidence to buy more Motorola equipment if what they say about one thing isn't true?The warranty is simple and says it doesn't cover screens, do I have to pay more for just one fall?
