Motorola Droid 2: Will Droid 1 LCD and ribbon cable work in Droid 2?

Hi, i have a bunch of LCDs (not digitizer) from broken droid 1s on hand. I just obtained a droid 2 that has a broken LCD. I can directly substitute the parts? The flex ribbon cable connecting the digitizer, lcd and earpiece to the motherboard also seem to be the same part. Will the direct substitution work?

Motorola Droid 2: How do I tighten my top screen to my keyboard?

So i need to know if it is possible to tighten the top plate of a motorola droid 2 to the bottom plate. This is because I have an annoying space in between that causes my top screen to tilt every time i tap on it. I know that the original Droid and even some droid 2's have much less space that makes it seem much more stiff. If anyone can do a walkthrough or picture step by step guide that would be great.

I can't hard reset my Droid 2, I got into the recovery mode but no matter what I do, I can't get the menu open to hard reset it. I tried the X button and the Vol Up combination and none of it worked for me.
