Motorola Moto 360 2nd Gen: Looking for suggestions on how to remove the button from the case

As the question title states, I’m looking for suggestions on how to remove the button from the case of a Moto 360 2nd Gen (42mm). I’ve tried tweezers (both a friend’s iFixit set and a professional phone repair place; end result was tweezers bent, and button didn’t budge), fine tip flat tip screwdriver (no dice). Anyone have any suggestions on where to find the 6 lug spanner/spindle nut (not sure of what it’s called exactly) that fits the button, or anything that might grip it snugly enough to back out the button? My inability to back out the button is holding me up from replacing the battery. Thanks. :)

Motorola Moto 360: Should I clean my watch after immersing it in sea water?

Hi!!

Last week I forgot to take off tmy moto 360 when I went to the beach. After a week with a dead watch, I could manage to recover it and I have charged it completely. However, it has some damage, the side button is not working and battery seems to last less time. After 8 hours of light use it has 38% (not too bad). I'm going to give it 2-3 complete charges in order to know the real damage in the battery.

However, I think that I should open the watch in order to remove any salt or oxid. It is not an easy task to open a moto 360 because the rear cover is hardly glued and there is no replacement available on internet in case of cover breaking . What are your opinion guys?

Motorola Moto 360: Power Button is Broken

So out of no where my button stopped working, It no longer clicks. So it may just need realigned. Anyone else have that issues? If so, will Motorola cover it? Or did you fix it yourself? I did NOT get the Moto Care when I purchased the Moto 360, seeing as a run my own phone repair business, I figured there would be parts out there by the time I damaged it.

From what I can tell in the break down, the actual button is surface mounted and soldered on the board. As for the part of the button one presses, it's a little hard to tell.

Anyone who've attempted repairs on the Moto 360 have any suggestions?

Thanks! -Jeff
