Motorola Moto G42: Motorola Moto G42 very weak Wi-Fi signal - only connects near router

My Motorola Moto G42 (model XT2233) has extremely weak Wi-Fi signal reception. It will only detect and connect to Wi-Fi networks if I am standing right next to the router; otherwise, no signals show up at all.

I have already tried resetting the Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth settings and testing the phone in Safe Mode, but the issue persists. This suggests a hardware problem.

I'm looking for guidance on:

1. The location of the Wi-Fi antenna or antenna cables inside the Moto G42.

2. Whether this is likely a loose coaxial cable or a fault on the motherboard/sub-board.

3. Any specific tips for opening this model to check the connections.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Motorola Moto E5 Play: Charging port pins damaged?

My phone was only charging when I pushed the charger in as hard as I could. I cleaned out the port with a toothpick, but now it's very finicky. It will only charge in USB mode instead of AC, and it's much too slow even after I replaced the battery. Sometimes I have to twist or push the charger around to get it to connect at all. I think the pins are damaged somehow, but they are as straight and clean as I can get them. Other micro usb ports I've compared it to look much sturdier, but this one has very thin, flimsy pins!

Motorola Moto G: phone accidentally got exposed to seawater at the beach.

Need your prayers and positive thoughts. 🙏

My phone accidentally got exposed to seawater at the beach. It was working at first—I even made calls and used it for several hours—but later it started randomly switching off and on. Now it's become very unstable.

I've visited multiple mobile repair shops. One said it could be an IC issue, while another asked me to leave it for inspection and come back tomorrow. Right now, I'm just hoping it's repairable and that I don't lose my data.

This phone means a lot to me, and honestly, I'm feeling really worried.
