Moto X Pure Edition: How can I fix my Moto X Pure Screen?

Hey Guys,

I cracked my Moto X Pure Edition’s screen and now I am wondering how to fix it. The touch is mostly unresponsive and the digitizer is badly cracked. The actual picture looks good exept there is an orangy discoloration where the cracks are. Should I purchase a digitizer or do I also need the lcd? The LCD is expensive so i’d like to get just the digitizer.

Here is what the damage looks like:

I have a cracked screen on a Moto X Pure. Image looks fine but it won't respond. I'm guessing the LCD is okay. I see 1 repair kit with just the digitizer screen and many more that also include the LCD for twice the price. Is it really that hard to remove the screen from the LCD with out damaging it, or should I just get a kit that includes the LCD? Should I also be sure to buy one with a frame already attached?

Moto X Pure Edition: Battery charging issues. Recognizes it but doesn't charge.

Alright, I've posted a similar question, but that one got lost in the abyss that is tech problems.

Alright, so a few months ago i dropped my moto x and the screen shattered. I got all the parts, fixed it, and the screen is functioning like normal. The main problem is that the battery will drain extremely quickly, and the phone will not charge. The phone recognizes the cord as plugged in, but the battery menu says not charging. I have tried two phone chargers, both do not work. I have cleared cache, soft reset, and still nothing. The front flash is also missing, which i was thinking might cause the battery to discharge quickly. I have already replaced the battery, and it still has the same problem. I am beginning to think that it might be a charger port problem, or maybe even a problem with the logic board. (maybe even flash? who knows?)

Also if anyone has a good suggestion in how to glue the screen to the frame of the phone that would be great thanks. (1mm 2 sided tape is not doing the job)

Moto X Pure Edition: display is blocking and bisected after screen replacement

I dropped my moto x pure and the glass cracked and the digitizer went out. I bought a replacement screen from an online vendor. I disassembled the phone and replaced the frame, lcd and digitizer and when I power the phone back on I immediately get a boot screen that is bisected or "blocked".

Half displays fine and half is ghost lines etc. The screen will go all the way through boot and the digitizer appears to work but I can't get any further because the I'm locked out and I can't access have off the pattern I need to draw to unlock the phone.

Now here's where it gets weird. When I installed the broken screen back in which was displaying just fine previously it now also is bisected and "blocking"

This leads me to the conclusion that I may have a loose connection? I went back and checked all of them and they all appear to be seated with no bent pins.

Anybody else experienced this - anybody have any solutions?

I have the 16 GB Moto X Pure edition. It's back, current apps, and home buttons are all soft keys. Today, while the phone was in standard orientation, the phone displayed a large amount of button presses on said soft keys, without me inputting any. Then, suddenly, the soft keys would no longer functioning in standard orientation. I have tested the segment of the screen, and it is responsive in right rotated orientation, and the soft keys work if they are on what would be the top edge of the phone.
