Two pics are the slot ON THE PHONE board where the part goes. The other two are pics of the little part that I need under the miscroscope. It has 3 pins on one side sticking out and 4 slots on the other (I guess to plug in the board) THANKS SO MUCH!!!

Moto X Play: I have cracked my screen and replaced it, but now the screen is black

My moto X play fell and shttered the screen, when I’ve tried to start it up the screen showed some colors.

I ordered from ebay new screen, but when I’ve assembled it, the screen stays black. the touch does work though. as I feel the vibrate motor when I move my finger on the screen on some point.

any idea what it could be? maybe someone could tell me where is the graphic unit on the MB so I could see if it suffered any damage?

thanks.

Moto X Play: The screen does not light up at all, even though the phone is actually

The screen does not light up at all, even though the phone is actually "ON" and is responding. First time when I noticed that the screen is not lighting up I thought something is wrong. Then all of a sudden the screen lighted up. This kept on going for a few days. The screen keep lighting up on and off. Now since last two weeks the screen has not come up at all. Strangely, the phone is working. Because we can experience the phone vibration whenever there is a call or a text message or any other notifications (like WhatsApp messages, Facebook posts notification etc). The moment phone is in a home Wifi network and gets connected to internet, it starts beeping with notifications. In fact, if I call on my number from another number the phone rings, vibrates. Only the problem is with the screen. The screen does not light up. For sure, the screen was responding perfectly the last time when I saw that screen lighting up. Is there a known solution to this problem ? Eventually, if it doesn't work then I will have to visit the service center. But meanwhile, is there a way to diagnose or a way to find out what is wrong ? Any known method that can be followed as trial before visiting the service center ?

Moto X Play: Moto X Play, Replaced display. No image

Hi Team!

Motorola Moto X Play. The screen got destroyed, but the Screen was functional before i started this.

I opened the device, and replaced the display. on testng the screen, there was no image. vibrates and such still When trying to boot. (Still gets life.)

I have done this repair before, and had a similar issue, where disassembling it, then reassembling it would fix the issue, until i tightened the top screw. this unfortunately does not give me the option.

If anyone has done this repair before, and no of a trick that causes this, please get in contact with me immediately.

If i caused any damage, please let me know where it would have been so i know what i need to replace? i have the tools and ability to do work on PCBs, so dont hesitate to let me know.

Moto X Play: If my screen is broken what do I need to buy?

Hello. So, recently I broke my screen on my Moto X Play and I plan to take my phone down to a repair shop but provide them the parts necessary for work.

The screen does not respond to touch and only the upper left hand corner of the screen shows any light I.E. most of the screen is black. Do I need to buy a full screen assembly (LCD screen, glass screen and digitizer) with a bezel or without a bezel?

Another side question I had was what was the difference between all the parts? What does a bezel, digitizer and LCD screen do?

Thanks a bunch.
