Moto G54 5G: Moto G54 5G buttons get stuck and phone shuts down when back body is attached after screen repair

My Moto G54 5G works perfectly when the back body (back panel) is removed. However, as soon as I snap the back body back on, the Power Key and Volume Down button stop working (get stuck/shorted), while Volume Plus continues to work. After a few minutes of the body being on, the phone shuts down or restarts automatically.

Even if I remove the back body immediately, the buttons stay stuck/non-responsive until I perform a restart. Once restarted without the back body, it works fine again.

I have already tried:

1. Cleaning the buttons with Isopropyl alcohol.

2. Checking for physical obstructions or debris.

3. Loosening motherboard screws to relieve pressure.

4. Checking for swollen battery (it looks fine).

5. Aligning the flex cable.

This problem started after a screen replacement. Is it possible that the new screen is too thick and pushing the motherboard against the back panel, or is there an electrical short triggered by the back panel's conductive coating? How can I fix this permanent "stuck" state that requires a restart?
