I tried playing music from external apps like Spotify and Pandora, but the speaker would not play any music from those apps. I am wondering if I am doing something wrong?

I don't have enough storage on my phone to download an entire app for the speaker. Is it imperative that I have the app to control the speaker and play music?

Monster SoundStage S1 Mini: Bluetooth on the speaker wont blink and wont reset

My bluetooth icon on the speaker is paired with another device (that i have no idea of) and after doing a factory reset and holding the play/pause button for 3 seconds didnt fix it.
