Mini Split Air Conditioners: Mini split AC circuit board under water

I have two compressors outside for AC units called minisplits These compressors have about a 2' x 4' circuitboard laying across the top of the unit. They were submerged in the recent Houston flood for about 3 or 4 days. Can they be saved?

Mini Split Air Conditioners: Need help identifying a RUUD condenser dual-run capacitor

I need to replace a 31 year old condenser dual-run capacitor in a RUUD air conditioner (model UALA-036JAS). Unfortunately the existing capacitor has absolutely no markings on it. When checked with a Supco capacitor tester it reads "open" on all connections. I called RUUD/Rheem and they specified a 40/5 uF replacement. I contacted Bristol who makes the compressor (but has been bought and moved to Thailand) and they spec'd a 35/5 uF.

Obviously I don’t want to install the wrong one, so any help or thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated! -Steve

My LG split (non-inverter) AC is frequently switching ON and OFF and sometimes changing the cooling modes on its own. Also it showed "Lo" on the display of the indoor unit! What does this mean and what should I do to correct it?

I usually set it at 22°C. And its summer now so room was definitely hot!

LAU126HNP: LG AC model LAU126HNP, bad PCB board

Hi all, first question, my product is not listed under AC so i had to just choose a random one, why can I not enter my own product?

LG LAU126HNP

Anyway my PCB board is fried, tech says there is no replacement and I need a new unit at $10,000. Is there any alternative, can I find a replacement board or repair the existing one? Many thanks!
