The car was absolutely running fine, no issues. Service maintenance had been completed i.e. oil change, new battery, new spark plugs, tuneup, starter, alternator, low mileage. Car one day while out running errands, just wouldn’t start in the shopping parking lot. No warning, lights, error messages on the dash ever appeared. No alerts of any kind.

Why out of the blue would it just n🚫t turn over, n🚫t start? Jump starting it did nothing. Battery was charged, it was new.

💡 Please, I hope somebody can help steer me in the right direction - 🤷🏼‍♀️ offer some guidance of troubleshooting this issue!! I miss driving my car!! 😪

so I have checked the connections at battery and all fuses relays

I need to check out put off alt but unsure where an easy place to check it as the alt is under the supercharger is the a good spot to check the alt ?

Hi all,

The fuel door lock is out of order (no lock) in my 2004' Mini cooper (R50).

When i turn the key, i hear the servo running but the trap is not lock. I don't know how to remove the system to check or replace the sleeve (if broken).

How to remove and repair this fuel door lock system ?

FYI : Valeo propose a fuel cap with key in replacement part to secure fuel tank.

Mini: Mini cooper gearbox issue

Had the stiff neutral gearbox issue with my mini cooper. I took out the gear selector on top of the gearbox to replace the neutral pin. However now that I have put the selector back in it is difficult to get into gear. It was fine selecting gears before just neutral that was stiff. It's difficult to put in and take out of gear. And also neutral now had some play in it there doesn't seem to be and spring tension from the gearbox

Mini: My mini will only blow cold air.. I have replaced the thermostat.

I have replaced the thermostat twice. Fluid levels are normal. Had heater core checked good.. I still only get cold air.. please help
