Xbox series x: Why Xbox series X tends to power down with no warning?

I’ve had this console for about 2-3 years, maybe 4. Feel like it happened once or twice in the past but then never again. Recently it’s been nearly every time I try to play a game on CFB 27. I can play other games for hours with no issues but as soon as I try to play a CFB 27 game it shuts off. I played 20 minutes against a user before it cut power. Then another time 10 minutes into a game vs a CPU it powered off, tried again and another 10 minutes into it, it did the same thing. Finally on the 3rd try it lasted the entire game. This occurred when I first powered it on after hours of rest. Does this sound like a PSU issue?

Xbox Series X: Xbox Series X No Power - Southbridge SOC-1 Connector Overheating in Standby

I have an Xbox Series X that will not power on (no beep, no light, no fan).

Diagnostic steps already taken:

1. PSU is confirmed working with 12V output.

2. 5V and 3.3V standby rails are present on the Southbridge board.

3. A faint mid-pitch hum (coil whine) is heard only when both main boards are connected via the SOC-1 ribbon cable.

4. With the SOC-1 cable connected, the connector on the Southbridge board (specifically the end of the connector further from the outer edge of the board) reaches temperatures over 135°F.

5. Flipping the SOC-1 cable results in the heat staying at the Southbridge connector, suggesting the short is on the Southbridge board or the connector itself rather than the cable.

6. Microscopic inspection of the connector and pins shows no visible debris, bridges, or bent pins.

Is there a known component failure (capacitor or diode) near the inner pins of the SOC-1 connector on the Southbridge board that would cause a standby short? Which voltage rail corresponds to those specific pins?

I have an XBOX One S which is stuck in safe mode. I tried to update it via USB and uploading the update file on the harddrive itself. Both have not worked. The USB port on the front of the console doesn't seem to work. Could that be the issue.

I have an xbox series x that does not power on. It started as an HDMI repair with ripped traces and snowballed into something worse. I cannot get it to come on. I ordered a raspberrypi pico to flash this firmware (https://github.com/xboxoneresearch/PicoD...) and get the whatever POST code it was throwing.

The result was SMC (1): E006 [SMC_FATAL_CPUGFX] Low priority: VREG_PWRGPAB_CPUGFX_PWRGD missing/timout: Check shorts on V_DRAM1P8, V_SOC1P8, V_SOCPHY. U681, U7, U129, U57 and U480 drive this signal low when a fault is detected.

I checked those test points and got no shorts. I did get shorts on the V_GFXCORE, V_CPUCORE, V_MEMPHY, V_SOC test points though.

I am at a loss as to what could be the issue here. Can anyone guide me in the right direction?

The xbox one s will turn on the immediately turn off, ive tried another psu with the same problem.

Ive checked all the mosfet chips and they all come back reading 7.7.

i have issues with the xbox one sensor as it turns on when the console is on but then noticed the IR LEDs turn off then the xbox logo

i have a sneaky suspension as to why this is but need assistance with the sensor as to why it turns off when the console turns on

i have performed a full shutdown of the console and then started it back up but for some odd reason the same issue occurs and i need assistance as mention above
