Where can I find a genuine screen part for surface pro 8?

My screen is cracked and I can't find any reliable supplier. I can't find a replacement guide for the device as well.

I've read the service guide and watched the video. Part of the replacement of the screen on the Surface Pro 8 is to replace the speaker mesh and the adhesive that bonds the screen to the unit. I can't find these anywhere (I can find them for Pro 7 and earlier models, but not Pro 8). Have you seen it? Does the mesh have to be replaced or can it be reused? Can I use simple double-sided tape meant for LCD screens and just put it in the general areas where the full strips shown in the video/service guide go?

My Microsoft Surface Pro Signature keyboard suddenly stopped working, I tried several software solutions and nothing worked. Then I proceeded to disassemble the keyboard, and I found that the internal flex cable was damaged, as it had very small tracks, it was impossible for me to reattach them, and I ended up damaging the flex cable even more. Integrated in this flex are the backlight tracks, signal tracks and the tracks that power the wireless charging of the slim pen 2. The flex cable that connects the detachable keyboard to the tablet is broken, therefore the keyboard stopped working completely and it also does not charge the wireless pen. I uncovered it completely, and the flex is completely separated from the base of the external connector of the keyboard that is inserted into the tablet. I would like to know where I can get the schematics for this connector, know how the flex is connected to the connector pins, how the keyboard backlight is connected and how it is connected to the keyboard motherboard. or if anyone knows the function of the 6 pins of the connector, or if they could help me with some other solution. Please The FPC cable contains the following numbering: "MFS M1110070-012"

I have been researching doing the screen replacement for a SP 8 that has a damaged screen. One of the things that was indicated to perform is a TDM Pre-repair but I cannot find any information how what that is and how to perform the steps. Can you provide information?

Hi,

My son has a Surface Pro 8 with a genuine Microsoft cover keyboard. The keyboard has stopped working, on investigation I have confirmed it is the ribbon cable that goes around the hinge and connects to the edge of the tablet.

I understand that this is a common problem so Microsoft are pushing poor quality products on our schools.

Cut to the chase has anyone successfully repaired or replaced the cable?

I suspect I need to completely remove the fabric outer to find the clips but it would be useful if the ribbon cable could be push in.

I found this keyboard in an e-waste bin. I believe it's from a Microsoft Surface Pro 8 or 9. Visually it's identical to this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/d/surfac.... The model number is 1864. But I don't have the laptop that came with it.

The connector has 6 contacts. I suspect it's a USB HID interface, although the touchpad could be I2C. Before cutting it open (which is destructive), I wonder if anyone has some info on the pinout of this keyboard? Thanks.

they seem exactly the same

unfortunately one of the ears of my kickstand is damaged and the problem has been to find anyone having the part or being able to order it, i mean it was released 4 years ago, it shouldn't be that hard to get an hardware part

I can't seem to find somewhere to buy a fan or heat sink and fan unit for a Surface Pro 8. My fan in grinding. I do find them used on ebay, but I am concerned that a used unit will have same issue. If anyone knows where to buy, please let me know.

Hi,

My Surface Pro 8, when pressing the power button will display the windows icon for 2 seconds, then go to a black scree, the same happens when pressing either volume up or down when pressing the power button. I've also tried holding the power button for minutes, but no difference.

I've tried replacing the SSD, but still the same condition.

What are my options?
