Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2: Reuse the rubber feet on a Surface Laptop Studio 2

I'm swapping the battery in my Surface Laptop Studio 2. It seems that replacement feet are hard to come by. Has anyone opened an SLS2 before and can provide some guidance on how to reuse the feet. I was thinking of warming them up with a hairdryer when removing and reinstalling.

Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2: Surface Studio Laptop 2 No Power, No Shorts

Hello,

i have a weird problem with a laptop. One day it does not turn on. Looking inside i saw a blown capacitor. replaced it and the short is gone. but the weird problem is, that it still not turn on. I checked every coil and nearly every cap. no shorts. i looked it onto it with a thermal camera and saw one component getting hot only 30°C. Checked it with multimeter. it was a resistor, showing the resistor value accordingly to the smd marking (1k). the voltage of 15V from the charger is present on one side but not on the other side. but there is no short. so i dont know whats wrong with it. the battery delivers 3v to the keyboard flex cable. i am honestly hoping now that the "powering on" key is malfunctioning and i do not know which pin to short the key to try that out. i hope someone can help me.

the 1k resistor is near the charger port, see images

Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2: Surface Laptop Studio 2 Battery Replacement

I'm planning on replacing the battery in my Surface Laptop Studio 2, I'm wondering if anyone knows if the cosmetic plate is included with the new bottom cover. The service manual indicates so. Microsoft's Store listing also indicates so.

iFixit doesn't indicate this in their store where I bought the battery from, but if it's a genuine Microsoft part I would assume its included. Can someone who has done this repair confirm?
