I dropped my Surfac Go and the kickstandard broke. it started getting loser day by day until it deattached alongside some few parts that held it. Is this fixable? If so, where can I get it fixed?

Surface Go 2: Screen Backlight not working...

Just as the title says. The literal day after the warranty period was over, the backlight stopped working.

Microsoft told me, on the phone and at store level. “You should've bought the extended warranty. Buy a new one, right over there!”

The screen still works, as does the touch screen. I hooked up an external monitor, nothing wrong in the BIOS and Windows. Just the backlight doesn't work.

So I ordered a replacement from ifixit. I swapped the screens, and same issue with a brand new one!

Surface Go 3: Need new BIOS image

Does anybody have a dump of the bios image stored on the XMC flash chip for this model. I need to reflash the chip and do not have access to normal bios updates through USB recovery or through any OS.

Microsoft Surface Go: How can I replace the screws holding the kickstand?

Two of the screws came loose holding the right side of the kickstand to the right hinge. Unfortunately, the screws are so tiny that I lost them. I would like to find replacements for them.

I already contacted Microsoft, but they won’t send me replacement screws, and they can’t even tell me the name of this type of screw.

I purchased a kit of screws from Amazon, but none of them fit. The kit included these screws: M2.5*4, M2*2, M2*3, M2*10, M2*8, M2*6, M2*5, M2*4, M2*3, M3*4, M3*8, M3*6, M3*5, M3*4, M2.5*8, M2.5*6, M2.5*5, M2.5*4

Is there a way to fix/replace the volume rocker on a Surface Go? I just purchased mine and the volume down doesn’t physically click or register in Windows. On the other hand, the volume up button both clicks and works.

Hi! Mi MS Surface Go 2 doesnt works..

Im sure that is the internal Storage. I Heard abour openning and fixing its so difficult. Any suggestions?

Any idea how to open It, or adding a new one hard drive? If im not wrong, the Storage is placed on the motherboard. Sorry about my english 🤙🏻

Sometime when I turn on my Microsoft Surface Go it shows a problem, the image is glitched and it doesn't look nice, i can put my password but it's dificult to use that way. Sometimes it works normally, but most of the time it doesn't.
