The battery in my performance died so I bought a new one.
During the swap, i think I broke the touchpad (the mounting tab broke.)
I was able to get a replacement performance base and installed the new batter in that.

The battery works but the touchpad doesn't

The ribbon cable is fully seated.

Windows and the UEFI software don't see it.

What else should be checked?
