Have a Surface Book Model 1793 i7 per device information. Not sure if it’s a book or a 2. The battery under keyboard are swollen and need to replace. Any help with comparable battery would be helpful. Thanks

Microsoft Surface Book Gen 1: Phantom touch on new ifixit display

Thanks to ifixit's teardown instructions and tools, I just replaced the screen on my Surface book 1 and it went well. I even took the rare opportunity to install a 1tb nvme. Maybe it's because I'm mentally deficient, but I ordered the adhesive strips late and decided to do the repair and leave the device open for the weekend after repair. This gave me the chance to test the repair in a condition which allows me to easily get behind the display if I need to, and I needed to because the display I bought from ifixit has phantom touch constantly on maybe 1 pixel. I don't know what to do to sort it out, or if I need another display. I'd certainly rather deal with it before I lay down the adhesive.

Microsoft Surface Book Gen 1: Screen won't register anything on keyboard at certain angles

I got the surface book 1 several years ago. It worked fine for about 2 months, then I had a problem where it shut down mid-reattach with the keyboard. Now it won't register anything about the keyboard or touchpad, or read anything through the usb ports unless the screen is at a specific angle with the keyboard. It also makes "popping" or "cracking" noises when you move the screen through the full range of its motion. I really need help with this as it makes the computer basically unusable with the keyboard attached, as it constantly cuts in and out of usability.
