As a follow up to this post where i explained that my digitizer was not working anymore after changing the battery, I tried to look at the MB under a microscope to see if something was wrong, but i'm not very familiar with how they are supposed to look like. Some components look suspicious to me, could anyone confirm if there is an issue ?

When I start a video on Netflix, my screen color loses life.

I have an 11t pro and my girlfriend has the 11i, it happens on both Xiaomi phones, before it was on HBO, I managed to solve it by going to HW in the developer options. After the last update it was on Netflix and I couldn't solve it anymore.

Mi 11: Deadboot: help me save my Mi 11

Hi there!

@oldturkey03 I saw your intervention here: https://fr.ifixit.com/R%C3%A9ponses/Affi...

And I thought you might be able to help. I won't refuse someone else's help, though 😬

My Mi 11 is a dead boot (started with a boot loop, it died eventually).

I'm currently comparing the resistance between my phone and the Xiaomi 11 Earth Resistance Reference (which doesn't actually measure the resistance but rather the voltage drop in mV in diode mode) and I'm finding a few discrepancies (but no short so far...I've checked around 85%).

I found the full schematics: https://secyukle.com/dosya/uploads/schem...

I know the location map can tell me the reference number of the 9 connectors, which I can then search for in the schematics to see which problematic pin is connected to what...but that's full of abbreviations I don't understand and I feel like a cow looking at a new gate.

Would you take a bit of your time to help me diagnose the %#*@ thing?

Mi 11: What do I need to change the makn back camera module?

The main camera on mi Mi 11 is not focusing correctly, and it's only temporarily fixed by tapping the device on the camera, indicating it's stuck. As far as I know, it's a known problem on this model. It's not in warranty anymore btw. What tools and parts do i need in order to change the camera module and while I'm in there, the battery as well?

Also do i then need to calibrate the sensor or something?

Mi 11: Main camera module replacement not working

I replaced the main camera module for the Xiaomi Mi 11. The replacement was done succesfully, with no complications, as I've been repairing phones for some years now. However the camera module is not recognized at all. As I open the camera app, it opens the camera with the wide-angle lens. In that I am not able to zoom or anything. If I try to open the main 108 MP camera, It will say it's not recognized and closes the app. If I try to take a video the app just crashes.

I have a feeling it may be a software related problem, but I have only little experience with Xiaomi, so I cannot say for sure. I tried to see if resetting default settings to the camera software would have some effect, but it didn't seem to do any help. Are these modules possibly linked straight to the board, so they cannot be changed without some recoding? Or is there something else I should try?
