Meta Quest 3: Charging pogo pinout - diy replacement of dock

I want to make myself a charging dock out of the box the headset came in but I'd need to know the pinout and possible handshake I would need to mimic. Could anyone who has the dock measure the voltages and see/record and communication over the data pin?

My Quest 3 USB port is only allowing charging, plugging it on my pc it gets unrecognized but seen, for now im using adb, but i prefer when i can connect it to my pc.

On my third Quest 3 in 2 years 3 months. Replaced by Meta. They’ve all failed similarly in that they are working as expected, put on a charger and show boundary or tracking issues on next use. Software reinstall and factory restore either don’t solve the issue or brick the unit.

Current unit followed same flow except I’ve been able to get it partially working but not usable after multiple restores and software reinstalls.

it will boot but shows Finding Position in Room. Then without interaction it will show the menu bar at the bottoms, then flash back to Finding Position. Pass through works intermittently. When it does work the room has waves, jumps between zoomed to unzoomed views, sections of the room to sides flash in front of me, the view has fractures in it, there are what are best described as lightening bolts across the screen with combined views of what’s in front of me and to the sides. Menus, if I can get them to come up, slide in and out of view or change distances and positions, controller functionality is intermittent…the list goes on. I’m sometimes able to get it stable enough or click fast enough to get to some menu choices so have cleared and tried to reset the boundaries although redraw may not have completed. No experimental features are on so “lie down” is not enabled but I’ve been able to reset the experimental features (none were enabled)

No external damage to any of the cameras. The device has never been dropped. If i try long enough to work through menus the top front gets very warm/hot which I think is where the heat sink is located.

Is this all due to a failed tracking sensor? Bad mb? Both?

So I got this thing on Christmas 2023 and just yesterday I was playing Gorilla tag (Really fun by the way) then I did something and when I came back, It wasn't charging like I plugged it in earlier. It turned on, but it had restarted. And then, the screen was frozen and my controllers wouldn't show up on screen.

I recently became part of a community that's trying to make hardware modification and custom software stack for Standalone XR Devices and I was wondering if it would be possible for iFixit to perform delayering of the XR2 chips including showing the location of the eFuses as that might enable communities alike to extend the usefulness of the devices. When I turn on my Meta Quest 3 games, the Meta logo appears, but after loading, the interface doesn't appear and everything remains black. The music plays, but the screen remains completely dark.

I've tried a factory reset; the menu appears and the colors remain the same, but when it comes to the interface where everything is visible, it doesn't work.

My Meta Quest 3 games don't show the interface.
