Memorex 2Xtreme MP3830-01: Headphones can't connect to jack

My headphones are unable to plug into the headphone jack on the device. The headphones seem to be in working order, since I can use them on other devices. The jack seems loose and may no longer be fully connected to the device.

Memorex 2Xtreme MP3830-01: Skip button is no longer responsive

I am unable to get any response from the skip forward button on top of the device. When I click the button the CD track does not change and the radio station does not change.
