iHome iD95: Time display unreadable as it is missing several characters

Bowers and Wilkins Zeppelin Air: B&W Zeppelin Air - LED flashing White - Firmware recovery failed

After a power outage the zeppelin air with 30 pin adapter shows a flashing white light and when connecting a USB cable to my PC/MAC using the Zeppelin Air Recovery Utility - firmware update (Recovery/Restore) the LED does not change to flashing green (still flashing white)- Recovery unsuccessful unable to continue to Restore Function. Even after going through the motions several times, the light remains flashing white. The Zeppelin Air only allows me to enter Firmware update - Solid white indicator light.

No other function available.

I have a bowers and Wilkins zeppelin. The led doesn’t come on and it shows no indication of power or audio. The lead is fine as it works with another speaker. I have opened it and noticed some discolouration around one of the ceramic disk capacitors could this be the issue? Everything else looks fine.

Media Player Accessory: Solder DC in directly to the connector board of Bose Soundlink 1?

HI,

I bought a Sounddock 1 Series and the Power adapter is dead. Those Adapter are expansive, and rather buying one I have a DC with same voltage +18V with 1A.

However the bos has a 4 pins connector.

Which one is positive and which one is neutral?

I have no way to test it.

Does my DC is suitable for this?

I know Bose power supply is +/- 18V 1A

Please let me know if you can help!

Media Player Accessory: How to open the case of Creative D100 bluetooth speaker?

Dear all, have anyone an idea how to open the case of this speaker? Under rubber pads below it - there are no screws. I only see something below front material - something like 8 metal washers with small hole inside - I was trying to pull them out with crochet hook but with no luck. Material also looks non removable.

The aim of this is to look for the possibility to attach external antenna as one built-in is weak.

iHome iP1: My iHome charges my iPhone when docked but it won’t play music.

It's a bit hard to remove the side covers, but with care it's possible. The way to put them back in place is mysterious! I tried for 2 hrs with no result....

Tivoli iPAL: Speaker replacement for iPAL

Hi!

I have an old (from about 2000) iPAL which I love very much :-) Now it seems that the speaker is not doing well anymore. By either listening from the radio or the AUX input the sound is very distorted. I tried with headphones and it's fine.

I have already opened it and the speaker is a 3 W 4 Ohm, it seems to be 2.5inch diameter. And it has a relatively small (in diameter) magnet so that it can fit in the small space with the electronic board.

I don't want to take the risk buying a speaker that will physically not fit. Does anybody knows if I can find a replacement that will fit well?

I have just bought a Pure-Fi at a thrift-shop as my old one died about 7-8 years ago and I just wanted one again. I testet it and now at home it has the same problem my unit had back then. After playing about 1 minute of music, it shuts down (As if you pushed the Power-button) even when plugged in. Do I have to replace the battery in order to get it Working again or is this another error? The Shutoff Time is not related to the volume settings.
