I have a 07 Mazda 6 and it wont shift pass 3 gear does anyone know what my problem is it has a 1.8 and a automatic transmission and my at light is on and when i switch it over to Manuel it does nothing its like it not even there

My Madza 6 only has 3rd gear. I bought it from someone that redid the exhsust system. They did not install an O2 sensor before the converter. I was told that was the problem. It just doesn't sound correct to me. I was told that the transmission was fine. Thr thing is I don't understand why the person left the O2 sensor out. But once they realized they did, why didn't they fix it instead of selling it this way? Any idess?

I have trouble codes showing that the O2 sensor are bad and also my engine ignition fuse has blown out twice and want to know if there is a diagram that can show me where all the sensors are located so I can also see if there is any loose wires.

i have an automatic transmission, 2008 Mazda 6i and Recently, when driving, the gearshift indicator on the dashboard will flicker and almost every time, the indicator will just shut off and when doing that, there’s often time an awful kickback and the rpm gauge will skyrocket, while my engine is not whining, it is just revving so loud and i am staying at a high rpm number while my car loses speed, or gains little to no speed.

along with that there is sometime hard shifting between gears up and down, and just within the past couple of days, when i turn my car on, it doesn’t light up on the dash board that i’m in park (until i shift down to drive and the rest of the letters will come on).

it’s a very random problem and i can’t replicate it, it just happens when it happens. the only way i know how to fix it (until it acts up again) is to pull over, turn my car off, and turn it back on again.

any ideas, advice, or questions are appreciated!!!

I opened my sunroof on my 2007 Mazda6 and when I got to my apartment, I went to close it and it will not close. All the fuses and stuff are okay. Is there anyway to manually close it? I think the motor could be blown as I’m hearing no sound when pressing it to close. I tried to disconnect the battery as well but nothing. Is there a way to close it? Thanks
