Hello,

Last night when I went to put my clothes in the dryer my light on the inside wasn't on. I closed the door and push the buttons to see if it would work and nothing happened. I unplugged the dryer and plugged it back in and nothing. I checked the breaker and it wasn't tripped. So I turned the breaker off for a few seconds then back on, still nothing. Can you please help.

Maytag Electric dryer won't heat or rotate. It's not the thermal fuse door switch start switch or any of the three thermostats. They all passed a continuity check. The light works and you can hear the timer doing it's thing (or possibly broke). I've verified the current at the power block also. The belts not broken rollers are fine the dryer is only a little over two years old. Whats next? Model is MEDC465HWO

Hello,

I purchased a Maytag ELECTRIC dryer on 4.24.19. The dryer was working fine until a couple of days ago. It doesn’t function at the HIGH heat setting, but will run at lower heat settings just fine. What is the problem with my dryer?

Bought my dryer used with a minor crack on the inside, the crack has double in size and has made a while. This ruins clothes and towels by getting caught onto pieces of the crack. What can I do without replacing the entire dryer?

My dryer has lights the door closes great the clicky bottom connects and clicks fine. The power button with pushed down clicks but I still have no juice. I don't know what happened to it last time I used it the dryer worked perfectly

Maytag Dryer LDE8604ACE: Gas dryer will not reheat

I have a maytag ensignia gas dryer. The dryer will heat up initially but will not reheat. The igniter will glow like it does during the initial heat up but no flame on the reheat. The initial heat up will run for 4-6 minutes. The flame will stop. About a minute later the igniter will glow but no flame. I've cleaned the vents but still the same issue. Any thoughts?

Maytag Dryer LDE8604ACE: Locking mechanism is broken

The dryers outer latch has broken and will no longer keep the door latched, therefore will not register as closed and will not begin the dryer cycles. Is there a replacement part or something I can do? Duct tape has been my macguyver quick fix for now

Previously when I put my clothes in the dryer, it started as usual. But after a few minutes it completely stops and I smell smoke from the dryer. We cleaned the lint though I feel like there are some lint underneath the net. The lights are on and when we go to change a cycle we can hear the chyme. But when we choose a cycle the timer starts but the machine doesn’t rotate. We’ve tried unplugging it and plugging it back with no results. Eventually we ended up getting a f01 notification.

checked continuity of every fuse i could get to on the back panel

when starting up the dryer i see it glow then goes out next test will probably be the igniter

I have had 2 gas dryers both have broken in the same way after I worked on the last one I finally ended up getting rid of it... actually still in the back of my shed. anyways I've tried changing the heat elements, and both of the safety kill switches. I cleaned us the entire dryer and the exit hose (only 2 feet). anyways I got another dryer (moms old one) cleaned it out before installing (also gas) it worked for about 6 months now the exact same problem is happening please help, it is in the hardest little spot.

Hi my name is Erik. My dryer isn't working rite I took off the panel and looked at it while it was on this is what's happening. Once I turn it on the glow coil turns orange and than you can see a flame that will last for about 15 seconds than it is off for like a minute than it turns back on for the same amount of time than off it continues this pattern and my cloths at the end of the cycle are wet. Is this a small problem that can be fixed or is the dryer junk?
