Picture processing and pass through still works and analogue audio works but I get no audio from optical inputs or hdmi. Is this likely a hardware malfunction?

This is a weird one, my marantz 2220 only inputs with tape in, and the knob on phono. no other inputs work, not even auxiliary with the knob on aux. I find this very strange and would appreciate some suggestions as this is my nicest receiver as of now.

Marantz Receiver: PCM light flashes continuously

Marantz SR 7300 It cycles through all the settings Prologic- stadium -cd/ digi1-stereo-movie - prologic etc. There is no sound unless it randomly stays on the right setting and a few seconds later it goes through the same cycle again. How can i fix this?

Marantz Receiver: SR7500 virtually nothing from L and R speakers

I reset mine - get 100% from centre speaker but virtually nothing from L and R speakers

Fixed - did another reset of the amp

Marantz Receiver: Why does the display flick on and off, with no audio interruption?

The TV image flicks on and off with no interruption in audio. It does not have lines or fading. It is just on then off. It does it with the apple box, cable box and blue ray disc. We have tested the following:

1) Connected to an alternate TV with same cable. Same problem.

2) Switched the HDMI cable on both TV A and TV B. Same problem.

3) Switched the cable box. Same problem.

We believe it has to be the receiver. We have updated firmware. Cannot find a solution.

Hi all I have a sr6011 cheap for me, I have owned top end since the early 80 ‘s but this has me stumped. It was all good for 2 years bi-amped then my pc died so I hooked it up to my laptop until I rebuild the pc and it started to clip.

Could a power issue be causing both problems?

Marantz Receiver: Random relay clicking issue

I have a marantz 6010 with a relay that clicks randomly. More when I initially turn it on then seems to stop once I have been using the system. Some clicks are fast and in multiples some are just a single click. The weird thing is everything seems to work normally when the clicks occure . I’m using a marantz 7055 for my main and center channels. The rear channels are off of the 6010. Also I’ve noticed that sometimes I can make the relay click by touching the rca terminals or wiggle the hdmi connections. Again nothing seems be effected when this happens.

Marantz Receiver: power cuts out on receiver

I have a Marantz SR5002 A/V receiver. Have had for 8 years. Recently the power starting cutting out inexplicably ... the unit is plugged into a power surge protection unit with a few other devices, and all other devices continue to work fine. After the power cuts out to the unit, the red standby light blinks, but the unit does not come back online. I unplug the unit and wait a few minutes, plug it back in, and it works again for a while before failing. Is there a worn component maybe? Would like to repair on my own because it's a long way to the nearest Marantz service center.
