When turning off Magnavox DVD player it looses all preprogrammed channels.

this is a table unit, a ZC352MW8A model. from Magnavox. Built in 2007.

When disc is put in DVD on top right there are lines pulsating around icon of disc. Does not permit play.

Even though i have played a dvd that it was played before, it will just continue to say disc error. I think (actually i am almost positive) i have to clean the laser lens from the research i have done online. I wanted to know if there is a way to clean it without having to buy that software

I bought a brand new DVD to play in my old DVD player it started Make a lot of noises n started to skip scenes n freeze, i cleaned the laser and put the the DVD back in player stilk the same result play good all the way to the end of movie n then started skipping n freezing so threw the old player away. Bought a new DVD player n now put the same DVD disc on and starts off with the opening scripts then goes directly to halfway to the movie then goes to 1/4 way to the end then goes to the begining n then back to the end then halfway then goes to end credits it's like all the scenes are jumbled up now I've tried other discs that I played in my old DVD player and those discs play just fine confused why this only DVD does that

I have a Magnavox model zc352mw8a dvd recorder 120vac. I can program the channels into it off of an antenna. The channels are there but then I can power the unit off then back on and maintain the programmed channels. But if I power the unit off for a period of a hour or more it looses the channels. They are no batteries in this unit for cmos for it is a cabinet mount player.

the unit is a magnavox MDR867H/F7, HDD&DVD Recorder-I accessed youtube videos and took off the dvd player cover and a silver plate and plastic cover over the dvd loading tray and was able to reseat the loader so it goes all the way in but something is still wrong since it comes out very slowly and won't read any discs. So I still haven't positioned it correctly. I see gears that seem to be turning but there's a piece over them and I can't see it directly.

It started out that it wouldn't spin the disks then it just shut off and now it won't even turn on, when you hit the power button the red and green light flashes but it won't turn on. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

In the middle of a movie, it froze and the player started buzzing. The player can’t be stopped, forwarded, rewound, or opened. Is there an easy fix, or has the player run its course?

the drawer would not open either manually/remote - I unplugged it for a few hrs - when re plugged it would not work, period.
