I have an MSI GF63 Thin Gaming Laptop, 15.6" FHD 144Hz, Intel i5-11400H, RTX 3050, 16GB RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD. The laptop won't power on at all.

I live in South Africa and my local authorized MSI Repair Center was unable to help me (they quoted a whole board swap, which was more than the price of the laptop), and MSI Forums haven't been any help, but I had a private technician diagnose the problem. The part that failed is the IC near the power button, and I need to know the specs for the part so that I can buy a replacement. The laptop is out of warranty so I want to do the repair myself. I cannot find any serial number or manufacturer for the IC in question, all I know is that it is a 6-pin, 12V IC. Can anyone provide me with information on the type of IC needed, manufacturer/serial number and specs? I would be very appreciative for any assistance or advice! An image of the part in question is attached if needed, the part at MH1 Q5 on the board.

i got a msi gf63 thin 11 uc laptop . Today i was reading a pdf innit and suddenly it got freezed....i turned it off by pressing power button and then i tried to turn it on again....the laptop power is turned on but the display is full black and the issue isnt definitely of the display rather the system is generally stuck...cause the capslock light isnt coming after pressing it also the key oard led lightnings arent able to adjust which are independend of display

The charging port center pin on my msi gf63 thin is very slightly wobbly and i dont know if its supposed to be like that but one night, i had the charger plugged in while i was playing games on it and it just wasnt charging, that day i tried charging it at different locations of my house and it still wouldn’t work. I took it to get it looked at in walmart and they didn’t know the problem, they even tested a different charger on it, i took the entire motherboard out to check it and i did notice theres an almost unnoticeable rip near my charging port on that black paper, and its not big at all, ive been looking into soldering a new charging port on the motherboard but im not sure if thats even the problem. The night it died, it was plugged up and it just randomly died, and i have never been able to get it back on since.

I replaced the battery on my msi gf63 laptop. And when i installed the new battery the ribbon cables seem to want to just sit underneath the battery. The cover still closes and everything. Should i try to take them out or keep as is?

When I touch it forcefully it turns off and when I connected to adapter then it turns on, and it doesn't charge, after some time it charges, after charging if I disconnect it stays like that and if shutdown and turns on without plugging then it won't turns on. When I check battery report it has battery removed records in the report solve my issue

My computer has been overheating lately, and it reaches crazy temperatures. I checked the fan and it works fine and i run it in cooler boost( max setting) and it does not help. When I looked online some people say that i need to reapply some thermal paste. I do not have any experience working on laptops. How can I really identify the problem and how can I apply thermal paste?
