MSI GE 62 2QC Apache: Exterior surrounding the screen is cracked at the hinge

Pretty straight forward straight forward. Some guy sitting next to me got up and got his foot caught on the power cord yanking the laptop off the table. It hit the floor and the case got cracked. Now, unless I pick it up by the screen and let gravity open my laptop, the case surrounding the screen pries itself apart.

The crack is at the bottom right on the side of the display assembly, and on the reverse side where the hinge meets the display.

MSI GE 62 2QC Apache: Stuck in boot loop and unable to factory reset (nothing in BIOS helps)

my computer died in the middle of a factory reset.

It was at a stage where it said “preparing your device” or something like that.

Now when i try to reset my laptop by going into the troubleshoot menu from the boot screen by spamming f3 i get the message “Please Wait”(with the msi logo of course) followed by a black screen for a couple seconds, then the msi logo once again with the message “undoing changes” however this never goes away.

MSI GE 62 2QC Apache: Charger port got fried and now refuses to charge with any charger.

Im very confused whenever it comes to computers and all of their inner workings — i dont even know what kind of laptop that i have beyond the fact that it is a msi gaming one with a rainbow keyboard and dragon logo — but i have very important stuff on my current laptop and I need to at least turn it on one last time so that I can salvage all of my old stuff before switching computers. My charger has always gotten super hot and soon even got the metal part that plugs into the actual port on the computer super bent so that you had to constantly reposition it in order to get it to charge. It often gave huge sparks and burned me, in fact. Recently it stopped charging the computer at all and my computer refuses to even turn on since — even whenever the charger was plugged in — it was always below 20% charge and could die at any moment if the charger got knocked out of place. Ive tried everything to reposition the charger and get it to charge again, but no luck. We have another computer of the exact same model that was used by my sister, however, and I even went as far as attempting to use the charger from THAT one to get my own computer to turn on. Still nothing. The little charger hole on the side of the computer smells completely burnt and wont react to any positioning of the charger or even a completely unbent charger like the one that I got from the other computer. Please, I need to get my stuff at least moved from this computer to the other one. I cant take it to a repair service or anything since i live in the middle of nowhere. Please help!!! I just need to get it turned on again at least one more time!!!

MSI GE 62 2QC Apache: Remove LCD cable from motherboard

Hi - I am trying to replace the LCD cable on my MSI laptop and cannot see how to remove the old one from the motherboard. I've taken a look at the cable connector guide on this site but it doesn't appear to be any of them (or not that I can tell). Any ideas?

The cable is a K1N-3040035-V03.

MSI GE 62 2QC Apache: Laptop screen failure? Ribbon cable damaged?

As shown i have a Msi laptop, its been a few years that i have it, quite a few. One day, around a year ago, i turned it on and the screen was not diplaying the right colors, something was off. The colors seem to be not as bright as they should be, the thing is when you turn the laptop on and just wait a while, the colors seem normal, when you start browsing through the web and encountering white color, when lets say you go back to desktop where it has darker colours, you can actually see the definitions of your page that you were on in pink color. What i have also noticed, that in video i took of the display while playing a game, the screen looked very green, not the same colour that i see when im actually using it. So, i went through the web, thinking it might be a hardware failure, maybe the ribbon connection to the video card is failing, im not sure, so i dont know how to go about it. External monitor displays everything fine. You can already see pinkish $@$*, when you turn the laptop on and it has the Msi logo, so i would say software has nothing to do with it. The more time you spend where there is a bright, white colour the worse it gets with the pinkness. Also i can clearly see the pink on my screen and on my phone that i took the photos on, but when i open them on the pc, it dosent actually look pink at all, so not 100% sure you be able to see the pinkness.
