I have this camera and it stopped working. now it doesn't show up as a camera, but as a mass storage device with 0 space.

I assume it lost it's "boot-drive" contents / firmware? maybe bit rot in flash memory?

anyway, does anyone have any ideas what, if anything, could be done?
I'm willing and able to use an external programmer if i can identify the flash chip, but getting the correct contents seems like a long shot.
