Logitech UE MegaBoom: Water got into the charging port

Water got into the charging port and now when I turn the speaker on it makes “power down” sound and turns off after a few seconds. How can I fix it?

I just got 2 megabooms and alone they work great. When I party them up and put them in different rooms they crackle and cut out. They're only about 30 ft apart. My UE megaboom had worked fine until now, but since last week it has developed this weird problem: There is no sound for about 5 minutes or so after turning it on.

Pairing works fine and I can play music immediately from my device, but there is no sound, not even the startup sound from the speaker. After about 5 minutes the sound will suddenly start (sometimes with a little crackling). It then works fine for as long as I use it.

I tried a factory reset, re-pairing but no change.

Anyone have any ideas about this?

So I have recently had a Megaboom 3 replaced under warrantee because I was getting an issue with it being stuck on 80% charge. On my new replacement it stays stuck on 40% or 80% (normally stuck on 80%) it never drops to 75% as an example.

I use both the app and the speaker to check the charge level. I have tried to reset using the power and volume down button. I have also tried the following:

"Volume Up and Down and the Bluetooth button at the same time WHILE the speaker was plugged in with the Volume Down button"

I have tried using the power up charging doc, and a cable. This is really strange because its the exact same with 2 different Megaboom 3, I swear it was not behaving like that before. Am I going insane?

Has anyone else experienced these issues.

Hi, I’ve owned this speaker for about a year and a half now and love it to bits but got really bummed when I dropped it out of my backpack while riding a scooter home. It has a considerable medium sized dent in the right side of the speaker. I’d like to rip it open and repair this with a hammer if possible and reassemble so the ugly dents not there any longer. I figure it’s not been opened before but not sure I got it used on OfferUp. When I do reassemble it will the water resistant feature still work somewhat or should I avoid water at all costs except light rain which I don’t get often in az. Kinda a weird question to ask but I can’t find much on the forums elsewhere is there even a chance that it would bend back right or should I just keep it like it is I’m pretty good with repairs and doesn’t seem to hard tbh from the videos I’ve seen just need to be careful with the plastic clips.

The Bluetooth used to work fine but recently it has stopped being visible to my phone (and I have tried other Bluetooth devices, it's just not visible to anything, the problem is the speaker not my phone) - has anyone any ideas please? I tried the reset tip (power plus vol down button) but this did nothing. Thanks for any help you can give.

So i got this brand new megaboom3 plug the thing

let it charge started from 20% to 100% but as soon as i unplug the speaker it shut down when i plug it back it works fine still 100% batterie.. no answer from ultimate ears.. tried reset and update still not working

it ''mostly ''happens when i have the speaker in the car with me but it keeps turning itself off randomly. it doesnt even make the noise like when it powers down, ill be listening to music and then it will just stop and ill check the speaker and its off.

My UE MegaBoom speaker is about four years old. It was accidently dropped in my pool, all the ports were closed. I had two other UE MegaBoom speakers partyup’d playing music, total of three UE MegaBoom speakers. The speaker that fell in the pool stopped working after about five minutes. Is there a repair shop out there that can repair it? Thank you

My speaker is on and both the phone and speaker are ready to pair but they won’t connect when I press the pairing button it makes a sound that it never used to make, now its just two beeps whenever I press it, I don’t even have to hold it down anymore. Factory reset changed nothing.

hi i have Logitech UE MegaBoom that does not take charge.

when plugged in, the white ligh blinks 2 times or seconds and turns off completely.

does this mean its dead battery?

i opened it up and everything looks ok, nothing burnt or corroded.

any ideas?

Hi, new speaker cannot pair with my phone.

Did a factory reset ( LOW VOLUME button + off button together) then turning off/on: this has been done three times, but no solution.

Did it without any other bluetooth devices around.

My phone got no other connections on,just to inform...
